Let me know which game among these you are the most excited about! And if there is another promising 2025 JRPG franchise you wanna share with us in the comments, please do so!
Cool list. Aint no way armed fantasia makes 2025 though. 2026 at the earliest. These kickstarter games are always at least a year (if not 2 or 3 years) later than advertised. There is an indie jrpg called Quartet coming in 2025 that I am very excited for :)
Finished Legend of Heroes Trails Through Daybreak, preordered LoH TTD 2, as well as Atelier Yumia, and waiting for the day DQ I &II HD2D Remake can be preordered. Side note: Speaking of DQ I, how many left the princess in the cave after beating the dragon and never took her back home?
Damn, we're pretty much in the exact same position, those are all the games i'm buying 100%. Always liked the atelier series and I aint missing a trails game. Side note: is that a quiz question ? xD idk
If you enjoy fast-paced action RPGs, you owe it to yourself to play the Ys series. The games can be played in any order. While there are occasional references to Adol's previous adventures, you can easily start with more recent games in the series. Ys VIII is a great place to start. It was my first game in the series, and I fell in love with the combat, the characters, and the great sense of adventure.
I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the recommendation. Fast-paced action RPGs are not really my preferred games, but I've always wanted to try an Ys game.
@@acwano The good news is that the games have difficulty settings, though I should warn you that Oath in Felghana is considered the "Dark Souls of Ys games" by some. Even on its easiest difficulty, it still presents a decent challenge. Ys VIII is probably the best starting point.
Hi! just found this channel. How did you grow this fast! wow, you only do this for just one month!? I started near 3 months ago, and made really huge effort on my channel and didn't grow so well XD
Appreciate the kind words. but Yeah im suprised too, its a mix of luck and knowing how the algorithm works. I spent like a week watching those YT videoa abt growing ur channel😂. If there is one thing we JRPG fans are good at, its processing information. I guess I learned quickly. DM me on twitter or add acwano on discord if u wanna discuss about YT stuff.
Guaranteed not. It's iffy if it'll even be 2026. It's VERY VERY early into development after they finally decided to self-publish after failing to find a publisher. Similarly Penny Blood that was part of the same kickstarter has literally not even started development and is likely to not ever release at all as they've also failed to get a publisher at this point and apparently won't be in a situation to self-publish... and are now suing those who held the initial kickstarter with claims that they never even got paid from that to begin with. Basically there's been very little progress with Armed Fantasia and absolutely no progress with Penny Blood since the initial kickstarter. I would be surprised if Armed Fantasia isn't a 2027 or 2028 release.
it was a contender for the list, looking back on it, maybe I shouldve put that instead of Armed fantasia since armed is probably not releasing this year as promised.

Didn't think you would make these kind of videos, but its a welcome surprise.
I've been wanting to do this one for a while! I hope you liked it.
So happy to see Xenoblade X get a second chance on Switch!! Also I'll finally be getting into Kiseki with Sky FC next year!
I've never played a xeno game, I might give this one a try!
@@acwano why not try one of the other games first?
Looking forward to the Lunar Collection coming out next year.

yeah probably. But hey, they said 2025 so its making the list!😂
WHERES SUIKODEN 1 & II HD!!
Its here in the comments! xD. I had only 10 spots, so the comment section can fill the gaps. I appreciate your contribution
@@acwano lol ok then.

Trails through Daybreak II, Trails in the Sky the 1st, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma.
Looking forward to daybreak 2, but also the sky and fate/extra remakes a lot as well
Armed Fantasia and Like a Dragon -
Hyped 🙌
Hey un autre Quebecois obsédé par les JRPGs 😮 Bonne liste ! Subbed
T'a deviné que j'etais quebs ou ta regarder les comments?😂 En tout cas chui content de voir un fellow jrpg obsessed queb!
Really looking forward to Expedition 33. I feel like the style and combat is what FF16 should've been. Really hope it's good!
OMG YESSS, If FF16 was like that, I wouldve legit cried tears of joy. I hope they make another turn-based final fantasy one day.
No FF should be whatever the devs want it to be.
@@NinoNakanoSupremacyDont mind us grumpy turn-based fans😂
wish Armed Fantasia and Trails series would Ditch the Smallabd Tiny UI. I want to see how much Health and Skill Points I have!!!
Lots of Falcom, and I love to see it
Big trails fan here! I'll give Ys a try one day too
Clair Obscur is more like Lost Odyssey. Really wish there's a remaster made for all consoles. Hopefully this game sends the message.
hopefully🤞
Your French pronunciation is pretty good!
Well I hope so, Its the language I use every day here in Quebec😂.

I highly doubt Armed Fantasia will release in 2025.
It will probably be delayed but we can hope!

Damn, that bad? I hope it releases in 2026 at least.
Persona 5 phantom X is also gonna have its western release next year!!!
Oooooh thats truuue, I forgot about that.
Where the new rune factory guardians of azuma
it was a contender for the list, looking back on it, maybe I shouldve put that instead of Armed fantasia since armed is probably not releasing this year as promised.
Ys! Xc x! Trails! *sells Kidney* 😁
HAHAHAHAHA, gotta make a lot of money as a jrpg fan😂
"Aturleeyay" don't pronounce the R
🤣
Thank you Asia for keeping women beautiful
My thoughts EXACTLY, every year that passes I play less western games. Im just a gamer, leave ur politics out of my escapism tool😭
No Tales of Graces f remaster mention 🥲
I suggest trying this game, it's peak in terms of combat system in the tales of game series.
Honestly forgot about it, i'll keep this game in mind!
