So hard to find an antagonist in games/movies as passionate and logical as Louis here. The overall delivery of his dialogue and his motivations are so good, he almost even convinced me lol.
Absolutely, having such a charismatic antagonist made this game's story so much better. Definitely became one of my favorite JRPG antagonist of all time.
The way the music just dies, everyone giving up the moment he agrees and quickly trying to find a way to accept the situation, really does feel like the moment you accept Louis all hope just evaporates.
Really, the entire world turning into monsters is an illogical thing to believe is an ideal world. Besides, More’s narration made it clear anyway that Louis’s ideal world was never going to work.
Louis is such a charismatic antagonist. I was so sad when I thought he died at the opera house.
He's basically Griffith from the Berserk series.

ngl, he almost convinced me too.😂
He's such a great fucking antagonist. You fight him literally like 4-6 times (I'm not sure) and everytime he pulls something new from under his sleeve

Yeah, it was interesting to see which character accepted it quickly and how was in denial for a bit. Very cool alternative ending.
it would have been nice to see a cutscene for this outcome. were the devs were afraid some of us might agree with louis?
Yeah, wouldve been nice.

Really, it’s only the girls who are absolutely disgusted with Will giving up. Strohl and Heismay just bended over. And Basilio just can’t believe it.
Pretty much. Hulkenberg and Gallica are the ones who try to dissuade him and cant believe it till the end.
This is Canon on the Real World.
pretty much🤣
