If I didnt know about the mage mp trick I would have been screwed
@@josepass2563 While I am not sure which trick they are referencing about, I personally found two methods that make MP management in dungeons much easier: 1. Equip MC with Mage archetypes, and kill/stun enemies in real-time combats with it. Each stun/kill grant 1 MP regen for your whole team. So if you go crazy in a group of fodders, your team usually get 4~8 MP out of it. But this method is repetitive, and insufficient once your skill cost more MP, this is why I recommend another methods once it became available: 2. Unlock a skill in Wizard's skillset that allow a character to auto-regen 10 MP each turn as long as said character have a buff on them. Combine this with equipments/skills that grant you auto-buff at the beginning of battles, it wil give your character free MP regen each turns. Stack it up with some other skills/equipments that auto-regen MP in a different amounts, and you are looking at 30~ MP regen each turn. With this, not only you can cut down MP costs by a lot, but also quickly regen a ton of MP by stunning a enemy, enter battle, pass turn for two rounds, and then escape. After that, if you need more, just repeat the loop on the same enemy. This method straight up trivialize MP management. Hope this helps. damn. thats some disappointing outcome. I nearly made it through my playthrough, but at their low health, they managed to crit me 3x and bam. At least know i know what happens
While the reward is dissapointing, this boss fight is kinda fun to solve. First i tried to debuff their AGI so i can dodge but its not consistent making my team died in long run. After some trial and error I found out that brawler can resist boss's attack, so i make my whole team brawler to tank boss's damage and use heismay spamming [knight procalamation] to tank boss's debuff
i did the exact same thing lol minus the heismay part. i tried to use heismay as a dodge tank while debuffing agi but i ended up just kinda overwhelming it with merchant mc
It’s actually great if you do the evasion strat, with shield arts you can keep it down consistently at 3 and dealing damage, almost every single time it will miss once getting rid of the second hit of the AOE
Decided to quickly look up if there was any major reward or not for this before I go attempting it. Unless it being gone let's you get a treasure you otherwise couldn't get, I'm glad i didn't start going to waste my time
The best way that I saw to beat it was by having its Hit/evasion down all the way by using Shield Arts and dealing damage by using jump thrust just keeping those debuffs up. Almost every single time it misses one of us which removes a turn counter meaning we don’t get hit by the second, only removing daze from Strohl and hulkenburg for the synth atk and using Will as a pure healer with Seeker, Heismay being the extra body to use items or extra damage if necessary, debating on loading my save file if it doesn’t give me much
You can actually beat it without grinding. Debuff its accuracy to the max and keep it that way throughout the fight. It’ll constantly lose turns that way
I did this on New Game Hard Mode (Don't have Regicide unlocked yet) I used 4 Brawler, which halves the damage, giving three Gold Attack for the high crit chance and one with Media for heals. And for the record, beating the second shadow creature fight nets a different incense. Not worth it if you're looking for rewards but I felt pretty good beating it both times without using up all my items.
Ok so due to grinding out archetype levels in the desert right after the first dungeon, I was level 40 by the time I got to this part and it was laughably easy.
