The quality of tap water and air in Finland is the best in the world.
I will send you a moomin mug if you want it. 👍
I’m from Finland and we visited in Slovenia couple of years back with my wife and I’ve to say it really is beautiful and interesting place! And what is also interesting, I actually found there many similarities with Finland, it felt almost like home for me. We are both quite small and our society and attitude is quite similar, for example we both think our tap water is the best in the world! 😂 And there was very clean everywhere and recycling was in high level! If I had to move to middle Europa, I could most probably choose Slovenia, Austria or maybe Switzerland. All of them have very beatiful nature and strong outdoor culture!
It's should be said that we have no real extremely dangerous weather in Demark, so no tornados, no earthquakes and also no real dangerous spiders, insects, snakes or animals, of cause if you are allergic to bee stings, that can be dangerous.
To clarify, the coffee isn't free. It's the refill, and only if you buy your first cup, and sit down there. Coffee is usually included in lunchbuffé and free refills. So, you can't enter a café and have a free coffee. Many workplaces have free coffee for the "fika" breaks during the workday, but sometimes there is a small fee or a collect jar.
She has misunderstood a few things in this video, not by much, but still. The coffee for example sometimes (used to be the norm back in the 90s and before) has an "ilmainen santsikuppi" basically meaning "one free refill". This does not mean unlimited free refills. Also, you will always need to ask whether it is included or not, same for coffee, if it is or isn't included in the lunch (more and more often it isn't) Free refills for soda are actually rather common in Finland, and available at pretty much every buffet menu
Did you say people in Rio are conservative? About how they dress? That's just about the only thing I've found in common with Finland that people are very laid back and dress casual.
There is also many springs (place where water emerges from the ground) all around in Finland from which you can drink from. Also in the northern parts of Finnish Lapland you can drink straight from the rivers and lakes in lots of places.
As you already found out at a later state, when using a currency calculator, it is not about 600 to 800 rais, but more than 1000 rais, which makes it not as cheap as you expected. Kaufland is really a fairly reasonabl priced shopping center for all civilians in Germany, nor for the rich.
For a Finn, the streetlife culture in Brazil is so enjoyable. The ease of going about your life, not needing to know what's what behind closed doors is very relaxing to me. Be prepared that Finland, even Helsinki, might look like a ghost town to you at points.
I do not know where you gotg the "3800 Euros" to be an average salary. For the age group of the young people here this is a rare exception. Most people earn a lot less per month.
When I was a kid in the 1960s we used to go rowing a lot and when we got thirsty we just drank straight from the lake. Nobody ever got sick so I guess the water was clean enough. 😊 But I wouldn't do it today!
Talking is silver. Silent is gold.
Your country was discovered by Europeans around 1500 but the history of the country didn’t start there! Indigenous people already lived for thousands of years there.
please ,tell your life?intresting.
so magical even "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "captain america" were filmed here in river soča valey :) and its 6th safest country in the world. greetings from sLOVEnia
Europe is really nice and diverse continent. I have been like 20 countries and africa, Usa, Canada. Total 24? Many of this many time. Love To traver
In all Nordic countries I think we have a common proverb : "There is no bad weather, only bad clothing", of course meaning just dress for the weather and keep doing what needs to be done... In Europe (at least in EU) red traffic lights means stop. Simple rules without exceptions makes for fewer accidents. Drivethrough coffee... Most people fill a thermos mug before going to the car... And also - I think MacDonalds serve coffee in their drivethroughs...?
To really rub in the finnish water quality, 99% of the time the tap water has even less bacteria than the bottled water. And it is the same water used in shower and in toilet. Finland has so much clean water it just doesnt matter, easier to run just one line of perfect water and use it for everything. 100.000+ lakes makes for unlimited groundwater so you just have to take care of it, a gift from mother nature.
Correct. Average Finnish tap water has proven to be cleaner than Evian.
Unfortunately Finland is no longer the place it used to be and the future doesn't look good either due to agressive righwing populist politics. Sad, but true.
Meu Deus, pessoal...
Greetings all. As a north croatian, i admire our neighbours slovenias for natural beauty of the country. Diversive lanscapes on relativy small area... and clip did not mention caves...
5:01 You guys collect mugs? Well, then there's pretty many mugs to choose from for you/to collect. 😆 I think I have maybe about 20 different Moomin mugs that are on the commonly found side. Moomin mugs are collectors items, so as a fair warning, they can be pricey.. I have gotten some of mine when on sale and few as a Christmas gift. 😂 11:36 In the summer withthe midnight sun, you just need really good blinds or blackout curtains (like I do) and it's not then that hard. I imagine it would take lots of time to get used to, but, otherwise I think it should be fine. 😊 14:39 I have to disagree here. I admit, I don't drink coffee or tea (at all). But from what I see around me, most definitely not everywhere is free refills for coffee. I guess it's safe to say that it depends on the place where you're at. Not just the fact wether you're in the Capital city area or in some smaller cities or villages or towns... But also individual cafes, restaurants and their own way to do things. 18:35 Bandaids can be found and bought from stores usually, some have more options than others. Or then maybe just have bad luck and they are sold out. Or if you get too picky and don't want to buy the only one they have and it happens to be 'kids'/kids bandaid with some characters on them. 😂 Wishing you guys a great day. 😊 💚

I'll try to clarify. Every man's right allows you to walk ON FOOT !!! everywhere in nature, take food to your mouth, pitch a tent, but not PUT A CAMPHERE, MAKE A MESS AND LITTER and NO leave no trace of where you were!!. Finnsi Smart! !! If you can see any building, you are out of every man's right.!!! Foreigners come to Finland who think that they can do anything in nature! Nasty bastard ANIMALS!
Usually, no foreigner makes such a video about Finland or Estonia without talking about the sauna culture. Perhaps, for some Americans it's too much even for talking about it? Lol
And same pure water on shower also. On any tap you find in Finland. Purer than some bottlet water
Drivetrough coffe shop🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣no no kill me on laughter. 🤣So fkin hilarious. If here was any, nobody would'n even think to go. B99. 999% guess
We have huge fines, so that's a big reason why people stick to the trafic rules. Like not giving someone from the right permission to go first will cost you 300 euro.
Our wastewater at home first flows through the sewer system to the sewage treatment plant, where it undergoes several complex cleaning processes. The purified water is then returns to the natural water cycle: it flows back into nature, from which we obtain our drinking water. There it is then drawn back by our waterworks and cleaned for our household.
Well, if we just stayed in the house every time the weather is bad or cold, Finland as a country would shut down for over half of the year. We have learned to live with it, but many of us don't like the climate very much and tens of thousands of Finns, especially retired people, live in southern Europe for most of the year, for example Spain is popular.
GO Eminem
❤❤ FROME HOLLAND
A❤❤❤ THANKS 😘🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
In Finland, you can also drink tap water from toilets in bars, shops and petrol stations, for example. It's exactly the same as at home. Even the water used to flush the toilet seat is the same water.
Somewhere in the world it is considered a waste of clean water, flush the toilet seat the same clean water.
@@pvahanen-dh5rt Yes, but on the other hand, building two different water systems is costly.
And wash our cars
There are over 140 different Moomin mug designs made.
Design in Finland, made in Thailand ...
Being a Dane I love the seasons changing and a walk in the forrest. I grew up in the countryside in a part of the country with lots of forrest. The smell of wet forrest after rain is amazing! ♥
Same free coffee, milk or tea at my university in Sydney. Then in Belfast the company offered free breakfast on Friday
Mies Toijalasta toi jalasta ja lasta jalasta Toijalasta.
Many of the muslims who have come to nordic countries as refugees hav all sosial, juridic and educational rights spendt their time to complain about racism and they want to keep religious practice from their home countries. This problems and a high criminality have made a bad situatien among ethnic norwegian.
Auschwitz and other concentration camps were forced labour camps… not killing camps… Google holodomor…
Germans were the National Socialists (NaSO) not National Zionists(NaZi‘s)…
On the raised intersection, every party is equal (they all passing an exit bump technically). No right of way for right hand traffic and all have to stop. This to make urban 30kmh zones safer. The example in the video assumed that car had yield rights which it didn't.
I am from Denmark and I love the changing seasons. Each season has its own charms 😊In the Summer we have the light evenings and it only gets dark around 11 in the evening and light as early as 4 in the morning, and in winter it gets light at around 8 in the morning and dark around 4 in the evening 😊
Hamburg Germany 🇩🇪 great City 🌆 👍
In the Netherlands we would even say there is a third christmas day, just for the hangover. Same with eastern.
It's always nice to see these kind of reactions to our country. It opens your eyes as a Dutchman to appreciate the things we have and do here more. Thanks for your reaction.
top video again
I am Dutch and live in the UK since 2010 ... one of the things I miss the most here? The urban planning of public spaces and roads🤐 Compared to the Netherlands, the UK is so incredibly backward🤨
Dane here, thx for the kind words, first of all, then how can i make you Come, via donate or something? Then i know you can understand english but can you speak it? Bc most danish people and will help you, again thx you for a good vid.
