I'm having a bit of a break at the moment as I lost my mum back in September, so I've had all the paperwork to sort out. Hi Shaun, I hope that you are well too. Just a few bits to do only small cosmetics left. I bought a slightly larger Jet for the Velosolex and tried it out this morning. Hi Tony, it's great to hear from you and thanks for watching. The velo is incredibly slow, but still enjoyable just going to the shops and I get loads of comments. It was Mr Bean's Holiday that inspired me to get one. I thought that was the funniest scene of the movie, with the Velosolex. As for the FZ50, I was pleased that I got another one. I had problems with my original orange one with PDI. I couldn't get a spark so replaced the PDI and it fired up straight away. I didn't have time to ride it, but thought I would wait until my day off, unfortunately I never got to ride it again, because of the shed fire. That's why I bought another one. Since I have sorted it's running issue, it's a dream to ride. I take that to the shops if I haven't got much time, unlike the Velosolex. I have no plans to sell these two. I lost my mum in September and it is now called Jean after her and the Velosolex is called Fred after my Dad. It is my way of dealing with her loss. Take care, Jeff

You're absolutely right. I always mean to put up a table of some kind, but always forget. No matter wherever you think is safe around an engine, I always lose something. The Jaguar still has the problems, but my father in law always needs it. He has just gone away for a six month holiday, so when I get time I will dig deeper. Take care Jeff

Hi Phil you are absolutely right about clean wheels. If ever I don't get the chance to wash the car, as long as the wheels are clean, it makes a big difference. I think I am all ready for my mum's funeral, I have just got to get a suit. My Uncle is finally out of hospital and has moved to a care home in Portsmouth. Apparently he has now got MRSA. Luckily he has got some friends down there, they have taken a lot off of me. I will have to go down there on Friday to take some of his important things from his flat in Woking. Luckily they like dogs in the home so I can take Jenny with me, so she also gets a day by the sea. Take care, Jeff

Hi Adam and thank you. I seem to be getting on top of things. I've just got to get a suit, I am off Wednesday, so will have to be then. I need to go through the inheritance tax forms with my other Uncle the evening of the Funeral. He was quite high up with P&O doing their taxes. He has done loads of the forms for others so hopefully I can get that sent off and get on with probate. Hi Shaun, I took the FZ50 to a friend of the family a couple of days ago, that was about a five mile round trip and it didn't miss a beat. Now back to the cosmetics which was the original plan. I'm still waiting for the brake blocks for the Velosolex. I wish I paid a bit more and got them in this country. The funeral is all ready, but I just need to get a suit for my son and myself. My uncle has left hospital and has gone down to a care home in Portsmouth. He has now got some sort of MRSA. He has friends down there who have been fantastic helping him and me. I will have to go there Friday and find out what he needs from his flat in Woking. At least it will be a day out with the wife and Jenny girl. Take care, Jeff

Hi Phil and thank you for your kind words. The last two weeks of her life were the worst for me. They say she wasn't suffering, but she was and didn't know I was there. Now that she has gone, I have a sense of relief that she is out of it. I don't want to think of her from the last couple of weeks, just what a wonderful mother she was over the whole of my life. My son has taken it very badly and he has had a couple of anger episodes. I upset my wife and his girlfriend. I've told him to speak me if he feels like that and touch wood he's been Ok since. Jenny is certainly a great help. I suppose the chains in the gearbox eventually were out, but because they are constantly soaked in oil, it would take a long time. Take care, Jeff

Hi Shaun and thank you for your kind words. I just hope that it was the crankshaft seal. I was pleased I could eventually get the powder coating done on the case. I had a little run on the Velosolex today, only about half a mile each way down our road. It did run smoothly, but not sure of the speed, it didn't feel fast. I have downloaded an app so I can check the speed. I can't go too far as I noticed I have lost a front brake block. I have ordered a set from France, with the backing complete with rubbers. I feel a sense of calm, I was very upset seeing mum in hospital towards the end and now I feel that at least she isn't suffering anymore. She didn't respond to me the last couple of weeks. I am not particularly a religious person, but I strongly feel that she is with me in spirit. I had the same feelings when I lost my dad ( Fred) My son James has taken it very badly and has suffered a couple of anger episodes. This upset Ying and his girlfriend Emily. Touch wood, he seems OK and have told him to speak to me about his emotions. He's been OK the last few days. Thank you very much for letting Ted know. Hi Roy and thank you very much. Unfortunately I lost my mum on Monday, so put the video out a bit earlier so that I can do a little tribute one next time. I was really happy with the hand painted finish, but I didn't have much time to carry on with it as I was worried about my mum. In between all the paperwork and places I have to visit at the moment, I thought I would have another go this morning and with a bit of heat again, all screws came out. I think it was divine intervention. I am feeling OK as I am relieved that my mum is not suffering anymore, but I seriously feel she is with me in spirit. Take care, Jeff

Hi, Shaun and thanks for watching. I may come back to the case at some point. Adam said I may end up drilling them out. Unfortunately my mum died yesterday. The reason I released the video today was because it would have been two Saturdays time, before I could show the next video. I would like to do a little tribute on the next video. I am doing Ok, I feel a relief that she is not suffering anymore. For the last two weeks, she didn't really know I was there. I have a feeling she is now with me in spirit and back with my dad on what would have been their Wedding anniversary. My son has taken it very badly, he had a big argument with his girlfriend in the middle of the night. It made my wife ill as well. I was out with Jenny tonight and she called me to come back because he was smashing things up. I had a go at him saying that everyone is missing mum, but getting angry doesn't help anyone. My Uncle is still in hospital, they are trying to get him into a care home in Portsmouth. I haven't seen or told him about mum yet. I am waiting to pick up the death certificate, I will have to tell him then. Sorry it's all a bit depressing. Take care Jeff

Thanks Shaun. I have been waiting ages to do that little video. It won't reset until it gets to zero. My neighbour had the same problem on her VW Polo. That was more of a pain.
