    Hi Jeff, Hope every thing is well, good tip on the service light delete, years ago I use to be a taxi driver in Wrexham and I use to drive a Peugeot Expert E7 2.0 HDi diesel and some time after its service every 10000 miles some time the garage for get to reset the service light ( Spannner ) and the staff at the garage showed me how to delete the service light if it happens again I did do it a few times when the forget. Catch you soon Take care mate

      Thanks Shaun. I have been waiting ages to do that little video. It won't reset until it gets to zero. My neighbour had the same problem on her VW Polo. That was more of a pain. I think I had to keep one of the pedals pushed as well. Finally off today, but now a warning for rain. Just my luck. Take care, Jeff

    Hey Jeff.....caught me out with a midweek video...... I dont have a django but this raises an issue with me that a lot of owners of motorbikes (or cars for that matter) do their own servicing and if you cant get rid of the service light its annoying,,,,,I can do it on one of my motorbikes but cant on my (older) Audi.....I find it really annoying that I have to pay to have it reset!!

    • @DiecastPowderCoating
      @DiecastPowderCoating 6 дней назад

      He Adam, it is frustrating if you can't clear a service light. My neighbour asked to get rid of his light on a VW Polo. That was a palaver, having to push brake pedals and all sorts of buttons. When I changed the Django for Km to miles, someone asked how I reset the service light, but I couldn't do anything until it went to zero. Take care, Jeff

My mum is pretty much asleep all the time now. I haven't been able to see her for a couple of days because of work. Hi Shaun, I hope you are well. I haven't been able to see my Uncle that much at his home, due to work and having to put my Mum first. Now that they are both in the same hospital I can visit both together. My mum seems better than my Uncle, he keeps hallucinating and thinks he is in hospital in Germany. I was hoping to be out and about by now with the Suzuki. I don't mind what I spend on it as long as it eventually goes. I have managed to get a new old stock petcock, I won't tell the wife, but it was £200. I mentioned in the video how rare they are and can be over £300. Hi Alan, it's lovely to hear from you and thank you for your best wishes for mum. She went down hill within a week and had no interest in anything. I saw her on Friday and the nurses were surprised how much that she perked up when I spoke with her. I wasn't able to see her Saturday due to a long shift at work, but my son James went there and she was asleep, and was told not to wake her. I went to the hospital yesterday and once again she has no interest and only wanted me to give her water I had a call from a doctor later on, that she vomited blood and were treating that. He said that they will treat conditions as they arise, but we're not very optimistic. She has bruises all over her body and I think she is now giving up. I have two emotions at the moment, I don't want to see her suffering like this, but also don't want to lose my mum. I will keep you updated with things and thanks again for your kind words. Hi and thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry to hear about your dad. As I have mentioned I hate seeing her suffering, so it would be a release for her, but it doesn't make things any easier. She's 92 and was very strong even into her 80's. Hopefully she will be OK. Take care, Jeff

      Hi Mathew, as it wasn't used since 1983 and just the one lady owner, with 4000 miles on it, I assumed that the old one was original. I just bought a standard size piston. Take care, Jeff

    • @DiecastPowderCoating
      @DiecastPowderCoating Месяц назад

      Hi Mathew, I would personally go for a standard size unless you want to bore out the cylinder. I got it on eBay from a company called my-moto-parts. It was £19.99 for the complete kit. It came the next day. I hope that helps.

      Hi Alan and thank you. I tried lifting the clip up on the needle to make it leaner, it's a bit better, but not quite there. I have one last idea, I have a new choke cable and enrichment valve coming. The cable is a little stiff, so thinking the choke cable or valve might not be coming off. Take care, Jeff

The paint work on the wheel has come out well, did you manage to get a split pin for the nut. Wont be long she will be running well and on the road. As always a great video, catch you soon Take care

      Hi Shaun, I hope you are well too. No I couldn't find any split pins or the old one either. I had a mixed box of them arrive yesterday and have put it on this morning. Also just found out that I have a puncture on the rear. It was completely flat this morning, so pumped it up, I tried it when I got home from work and it was still OK. I have ordered two new inner tubes just in case. I have also moved the clip on the needle up a bit to make it leaner, but haven't had time to try it on the road yet. Take care, Jeff

      Hi, yes it's not that good, so will have to get another one. The only thing that worries me at the moment, if I soak it in oil it will make getting air into the engine worse. I have moved the needle clip up and it seems a bit better, but I haven't had time to take it for a run due to work. I will see how it is Monday when I'm off. Take care, Jeff

      Hi Sue, it was a shame to get rid of the Mobylette, but I needed the room. The new one should come up great, but I'm having a few issues with it running rich. I have changed the piston and now it has very good compression. It could be something to do with the carburettor, but I will get there in the end, it's all part of the enjoyment ( sort of ) My mum is Just the same, still bed bound. I see her everyday, but sort of dread what state she will be in. I hope that your mum is doing OK, it is very worrying for us. Take care, Jeff and Jenny xx

      Hi David and thank you. I did look at RS Motorcycle paint, but I find them a bit expensive with the postage. I managed to find a paint manufacturer locally and he scanned it for me. It was £34 for 250ml, which I'm sure should be enough. Thanks again for your help. Take care, Jeff
