Thanks very much Martin, just got to sort out the sticking brake caliper. The funeral was more of a celebration than a depressing event. At least she is not suffering anymore. Take care, Jeff
HeyJeff...welcome back and im glad all went well. In the past for small valves such as the decompression valve I have used a heat glue gun to stick a small dowel to the valve then lap it.....more recently I have used CA glue as it really holds well and no damage to the valve...... thanks as always for the videos..... look forward to the next one!
Hi Adam, I hope that you are well. Thanks for the tip, I'm glad this one had a screw head on it, but your tip is good to know for the future. I was going to sort the brakes out today before work, but it's wet and windy, so thought better of it. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff, hope your well,, A big job on the Velosolex new piston and cylinder. A bit of a fiddle to put back together, hopefully she will be running fine and be back on the road. Great video as always, catch you soon Take care
Hello Jeff as always very interesting video velo are a nice bike it looks good real happy you found another FZ50 after what happened the last one i do remember you saying you really liked Suzuki the blue is a really nice colour will you keep it or sell it i would not be able to part with it i have one and love it best bike i ever had. Take care and thanks great videos.
Hi Tony, it's great to hear from you and thanks for watching. The velo is incredibly slow, but still enjoyable just going to the shops and I get loads of comments. It was Mr Bean's Holiday that inspired me to get one. I thought that was the funniest scene of the movie, with the Velosolex. As for the FZ50, I was pleased that I got another one. I had problems with my original orange one with PDI. I couldn't get a spark so replaced the PDI and it fired up straight away. I didn't have time to ride it, but thought I would wait until my day off, unfortunately I never got to ride it again, because of the shed fire. That's why I bought another one. Since I have sorted it's running issue, it's a dream to ride. I take that to the shops if I haven't got much time, unlike the Velosolex. I have no plans to sell these two. I lost my mum in September and it is now called Jean after her and the Velosolex is called Fred after my Dad. It is my way of dealing with her loss. Take care, Jeff
Well done Jeff good job good to see you back 👍👍👍👍
Nicely done Jeff, and it runs so that's a good result, glad the funeral went well for you ,all the best Martin

Geoff I don't think you should be smoking whilst playing around with petrol tanks 🔥
Hi Steve, I did think of that when I played the clip back, I hoped no one would notice. You are quite right.
Take care, Jeff
