Hi Martin and thanks very much. On this bike there is so much preparation before you can fit one part, but then it comes together quickly. Thanks for watching. Take care, Jeff
Hi Rob and thank you. There are so many little bits that I need to prepare before I can do one thing, if you see what I mean. About six things needed to be ready just to put a mudguard on. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff Hope your well, It's putting it back together, It's going to look great when it's done and back on the road, you will have to make a video riding your Velosolex. Keep up the good work . catch you soon Take care
Hi Shaun I hope you are well also. Yes hopefully I can do a ride on it when it's finished. I hope to do one of the Mobylette as well. Thanks for watching. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff Loved the video mate so many aucward bits little screws I have big fingers would struggle doing this how did you go with the jag Jeff did you fix the problem you got a break now few days of that's good jenny looks cool bike is looking great a new life for it well done Phil in stoke
Hi Phil, I hope you are well. Yes the nuts on this bike are a bit of a pain. It would be nice if the bolts just screwed into the frame. I am on holiday now until the 10th of May, but unfortunately I am currently in the depth of decorating and building furniture. Luckily I was able to do two videos at the same time last week, so I still have a video for next week. The Jaguar is on hold at the moment, my Father in law is back from holiday next Tuesday so I would like the opportunity to have another go at it before he comes back. I am thinking now it may be a cracked inlet manifold, which could take about 15 hours to do. I just don't have that time to spare. My 92 year old mum fell over on Saturday and broke her hip, she had a hip replacement yesterday, so I have to visit her in the evenings. Luckily I'm on holiday. Take care, Jeff
hey jeff...... putting pistons in is always a bind....... Its coming together well.....did you gap the rings or just take it as all ok? thanks as always for the vids....I always look forward to them.
Hi Adam, yes pistons can be a pain. The Mobylettes only have two rings. No I didn't gap them. When I had to move the bike I had my hand over the cylinder and it nearly sucked my hand in. It's doesn't sound very smooth at the moment but hopefully should wear in a bit. Thanks for watching Take care, Jeff
Great progress, went together nicely, good quality video Jeff all the best Martin
