Tyler Fitzgerald showed pretty good production in the minors imo. 2021: 19 homers , .831 OPS 2022: 21 homers, .753 OPS 2023: 22 homers, .877 OPS and before his role as an everyday starter he hit with a 1.121 OPS in AAA. 2022 seems to be his only weak minor league season recently..

Freeman is number 1 until I see otherwise. A breakout season for Guerrero shouldn't make him number 1, especially with how bad he is defensively.

Rhys Hoskins is way too low. Numbers only mean so much when a great player is coming off of an ACL Tear. Look at Ronald Acuna. Expected numbers don't take into account that Rhys Hoskins just came off of a major injury.

Goldschmidt should be higher, at 31.

Do you add up the total war of all players draft to see how it compares to that of other years totals or average war? It seems that 2015 draft was a stinker.

Not all first round RBs are built the same. Only Gurley, CMC and Saquon are the RBs picked in the top 10 in the 2010s that are absolute outliers. All 3 had their best seasons running on a great performing O-line. Zeke was pretty much great throughout his rookie contract and regressed after that. Lenny peaked before his rookie contract finished. Hell even teams picking excellent RBs in the 2nd round without addressing the interior O-line have problems utilizing their run game.

You over rely on stats imo, especially framing. Framing is valuable but it’s also a volatile year year to year stat that is not solely reliant on the catcher.

As a Giants fan I couldn't be happier with Bailey defensively, but offensively he is BAD... He's a hole in the lineup... I can't rate him in the top 10 with the bat as bad as it is... if he could improve to league avg hitting he would be #1... but he's not league avg hitting, he's not even close... I'm hoping he gets better with the bat, like I said I would be ok with league avg hitting, but as far below avg as he is offensively he's a problem in the lineup...
