Great story bro. I was pretty thin as a kid, but between 4th and 5th grade I chubbed up for some reason. Luckily I hit a growth spurt in 6th grade, so my weight balanced out and l thought l was safe. I...was not lol I was always pretty active playing basketball before school at the park, during gym/recess/ and then after school, but all that changed in high school. For 1 thing my high school was pretty far away from my home, so there was no way l was getting there early enough to ball before school, so that was out. They didnt let us go outside for recess, so that was out too. Gym? Forget about it. At the time we would either have gym, music, or art class on our schedule, so l didnt see the inside of a gym my ENTIRE 9th grade. And to make matters worse my closest friend who l would ball with after school and on weekends moved away, so l didnt even get weekend exercise in as much. By the time 10th grade rolled around and l finally got gym class on my schedule, it was too late. I had gained 30 pounds and felt like a complete loser. I would gain more and more weight over the years till l hit my high of 225. Last year l was 212 tho, and then my mom got gravely ill. She needed 24/7 care and didnt want to enter hospice, so it was up to me and my sister. But l knew l couldnt take care of her if l didnt take care of myself first. I began eating right and working out daily. Now im down to 165 and l look the best I've looked in years. I just wish my mom was still here to see it...

Love your story. It’s a journey isn’t it. My whole life I tried every crazy diet. Did tons of insanity. Was a beachbody coach. Worked out too much at time. Got injuries. Did fasting. Keto. Paleo. Lost and regained the same 20 pounds many times. Feb I found perimenopause weight. Started eating high protein (goal weight in grams) walking 10,000+ steps. Drinking a gallon of water. Finished 75 hard. Continuing a lot of the program as it’s easy to eat the high protein. I’ve dropped 22 pounds since March 1. Still gave 20 pounds to go. Starting to lift weight now in addition to the steps.

It’s got decent macros but in my personal opinion, as a person who suffers with eating disorders (mostly binge eating), cereal just really shouldn’t be in my house. Even if it is “healthy”. Now that I’m using a Ninja Creami Deluxe, I *do* want some mix-in options for when I have the calorie allowance for some more “fun” in my “protein ice cream”. I can’t remember the macros off the top of my head for Magic Spoon, but I think it’s better than the stuff from Catalina Crunch (that stuff is like 110 calories for 36 grams. High protein but… so many calories, like 2,500ish in one container)

I’m torn between getting the rep fitness titan dual stack cable machine for $2700, plus a premium bench for idk another $400, and basically dropping $4k+ on a home gym…. Versus getting something minimal like an adjustable dumbbell set ($500-$700) plus a bench, totaling somewhere around $1100 maybe. Or even cheaper - making homemade sandbags and getting some “resistance training” “equipment” for <$100. You’re certainly getting a lot out of your equipment. I like working out at my local commercial gym but the extra time lost from traveling and preparing my gym duffel bag is really adding up…

Sup dude! Really cool video. I thought a lot about this before my weeklong Hawaii vacation last month. I actually purchased a vacuum sealer so that I could take my homemade jerky with me to Hawaii. I was able to eat them every morning so that I knew I was getting my protein goals for the day. Heck, I even ate them at the airport. Everyone was sleeping in so I went to the gym in the morning and got my resistance training and was even able to run 3 miles most days in the morning as well. I also went for evening walks. For the weeklong vacation in Hawaii, I only gained maybe two pounds. During my week-long vacation in Hawaii, I made a concerted effort to maintain my fitness and dietary goals despite the relaxed vacation setting. I managed to indulge moderately while still sticking closely to my carnivore diet. Here's how I approached it: 1. **Alcohol and Treats**: I limited myself to fewer than five drinks for the entire trip, significantly less than others who were having drinks at every meal. This helped me control my calorie intake. I also allowed myself a few treats like pastries and sweets, and I tried other people's non-meat dishes occasionally. It was a vacation, after all, so a little deviation was part of the experience. 2. **Physical Activity**: I chose to walk as much as possible, often opting to reach destinations on foot rather than driving, which added extra steps and kept me active. Every evening, I made it a point to go for a walk. I also pushed for more hikes and managed to fit in resistance training and treadmill runs every morning by waking up early to use the hotel gym while others were still sleeping. 3. **Diet Management**: To ensure I met my protein goals daily, I brought along vacuum-sealed homemade jerkies, including liver jerky and tilapia fillets. This not only helped me stick to my diet but also avoided the need to buy overpriced food at the airport. Despite these efforts, I gained a couple of pounds, which I expected given the context of a family vacation with more sedentary companions. However, within a few weeks of returning, I shed those pounds and even dipped below my pre-vacation weight. Considering everything, gaining only one or two pounds during a leisurely vacation in Hawaii feels like a success, especially when balanced against the enjoyment of the trip and maintaining most of my health routines. Anyways, I looked at the videos in your channel. It’s a cool theme! More or less what I’m going for. I found you from looking up the ninja creami. I’m also making lots of protein ice cream. I’m about to make a batch of “gelato”. But it’s gonna be a total total bastardization… I just received some Cinnabon protein powder, some cinnamon roll protein shakes, and even some “flavor oil” which is supposed to be four times stronger than extracts. I’m about to mix all of that with like six eggs into my 24 ounce container for my deluxe creami. Will it taste good? I have no idea. But it’s food, just in “treat“ form. I’ve already made three batches of gelato and I was pleased with the results. My dad said it was edible. lol…. For the previous three batches, I separated the egg whites from the egg yolks. But that’s extra work! I’m gonna see how it turns out with six eggs per 24 ounce container. I’m doing three containers so that’s 18 eggs. That’s a lot of eggs! Considering I would like to eat those three containers in about two days. That’s like 36 ounces of “ice cream” in one day. Well, gelato. Oh, I forgot to say - for that creamy video you made - I really liked the camera gag you did at the start. The whole snap and the back time travel thing. Nice video editing.

Appreciate your videos. Do you think canned pineapple would work instead of frozen?

Thank you! Yes, I think that would be fine but I would definitely still blend them first.
