Sup dude! Really cool video. I thought a lot about this before my weeklong Hawaii vacation last month. I actually purchased a vacuum sealer so that I could take my homemade jerky with me to Hawaii. I was able to eat them every morning so that I knew I was getting my protein goals for the day. Heck, I even ate them at the airport. Everyone was sleeping in so I went to the gym in the morning and got my resistance training and was even able to run 3 miles most days in the morning as well. I also went for evening walks. For the weeklong vacation in Hawaii, I only gained maybe two pounds.
During my week-long vacation in Hawaii, I made a concerted effort to maintain my fitness and dietary goals despite the relaxed vacation setting. I managed to indulge moderately while still sticking closely to my carnivore diet. Here's how I approached it:
    1. **Alcohol and Treats**: I limited myself to fewer than five drinks for the entire trip, significantly less than others who were having drinks at every meal. This helped me control my calorie intake. I also allowed myself a few treats like pastries and sweets, and I tried other people's non-meat dishes occasionally. It was a vacation, after all, so a little deviation was part of the experience.
    2. **Physical Activity**: I chose to walk as much as possible, often opting to reach destinations on foot rather than driving, which added extra steps and kept me active. Every evening, I made it a point to go for a walk. I also pushed for more hikes and managed to fit in resistance training and treadmill runs every morning by waking up early to use the hotel gym while others were still sleeping.
    3. **Diet Management**: To ensure I met my protein goals daily, I brought along vacuum-sealed homemade jerkies, including liver jerky and tilapia fillets. This not only helped me stick to my diet but also avoided the need to buy overpriced food at the airport.
Despite these efforts, I gained a couple of pounds, which I expected given the context of a family vacation with more sedentary companions. However, within a few weeks of returning, I shed those pounds and even dipped below my pre-vacation weight. Considering everything, gaining only one or two pounds during a leisurely vacation in Hawaii feels like a success, especially when balanced against the enjoyment of the trip and maintaining most of my health routines.
Anyways, I looked at the videos in your channel. It’s a cool theme! More or less what I’m going for. I found you from looking up the ninja creami. I’m also making lots of protein ice cream. I’m about to make a batch of “gelato”. But it’s gonna be a total total bastardization… I just received some Cinnabon protein powder, some cinnamon roll protein shakes, and even some “flavor oil” which is supposed to be four times stronger than extracts. I’m about to mix all of that with like six eggs into my 24 ounce container for my deluxe creami. Will it taste good? I have no idea. But it’s food, just in “treat“ form. I’ve already made three batches of gelato and I was pleased with the results. My dad said it was edible. lol….
For the previous three batches, I separated the egg whites from the egg yolks. But that’s extra work! I’m gonna see how it turns out with six eggs per 24 ounce container. I’m doing three containers so that’s 18 eggs. That’s a lot of eggs! Considering I would like to eat those three containers in about two days. That’s like 36 ounces of “ice cream” in one day. Well, gelato.
Oh, I forgot to say - for that creamy video you made - I really liked the camera gag you did at the start. The whole snap and the back time travel thing. Nice video editing.
