Where they sold Burek? Name of the place?
No kidneys liver etc, dude, what you found on Google it's old traditional Hungarian recipe (think they also dont make it like that anymore) , our contains just pure meat usually beef, but I've eaten Hunter's Goulash with two types of meat, of a wild boar and deer and its so strong dude that can't eat much, if you have high pressure problems...its makes you full fed with half of plate...
It's sarmale
Seeing all these titles like ''serbia wow this, serbia wow that'' I really wonder, what foreigners (especially americans) think of us? We sleeping on trees ,live in caves , murder , rape and pillage all day long? They hate us for being ''violent'' while in reality , none of crimes that happen in those countries who hate us , happen here . Racism for an example is non existant here.
Nice to meet you, Matt and Laurie, commenting from Japan. There was a similar sleeper train with similar rooms in Japan 10 years ago, but it has largely been discontinued in Japan and now only one is running. It is a sleeper train called Sunrise Seto/Izumo. If you ever come to Japan, please take a ride.
Super!😊
You must spell Golubac like this “Go-loo-butt‘s” or „Goe lube butts“! 😉😆
I am Romanian
It all looks very Turkish, not too Serbian? Even how they call it sounds Turkish.
You are such a beautiful couple, and Laurie gives even more charm to the places you visit. As a Romanian, I hope that you will return one day, there are still many hidden gems to discover and wonders to see here, old cities, splendid nature, dark but great history, an amazing culture with so many influences, from the north of Moldova and from Maramures to the Danube delta in the east or Timisoara and Oradea in the west... and great people, so hospitable to invite you in their households, especially in the rural area. It was such a pleasure to discover your vlogs. The medieval fortress of Sighisoara awaits you with a garlic necklace! 😁
Thank you for such a lovely comment!
Big like 😊
Thank you!
A great video! Strange though, I think you forgot to add it to Romania's playlist 🤔
Oops! Added thank you:)
@@MattLaurie 😄👍
Dakota Johnson in Brasov.
Name?
You forget to eat in Mostar plata ( mix food ) on metal plate.
Haha, you have only one problem! With word j, you say wrong, Sarajevo, ajvar.
Torvill and Dean. Legendary.
best burek and cevap in balkan countries are in Bosnia
Just lovely couple. You only forget to try pleskavica ( serbian version of burger ) huge, 300 to 400 grams.
Thank you! We’ll add that to our list when we come back!
Mmmm...So you took The Ister night train. Did you look for a restaurant car on it? When I took it some years ago, there used to be a CFR Restaurant car attached after the train entered Romania. In September last year I also took the Dacia CFR night train which is an even longer trip as it starts from Vienna and still goes through Budapest but a couple of hours later, after the Ister has departed, and on the Dacia, there was definitely a CFR Restaurant car attached when I woke up the next morning. Also the guard on the Dacia had a card payment machine so I was able to pay by card so a bit surprising your guard didn't have one. Your delay was only 40mins LOL. That's pretty good going by Ister/Dacia standards! Due to big track works in Southern Hungary my Dacia train was re-routed + other delays in Romania added up to about 4 hours running late (not that I minded as I enjoyed just chilling out on the train)
LOL yes about being early. I almost missed this train in Budapest because I was enjoying the Szechenyi Baths too much. Thank goodness for the great tram and metro network in Budapest that helped get me back to Keleti Station with 5 mins to spare! Boy was I sweating!
What a place to stay! Even an indoor hot tub?! Awesome find!
you should've zoomed in on the placinta a bit more, for the viewers.
We are not eastern Europe, check the map.
You guys are such a lovely couple. Hope you enjoyed Serbia and Balkans in general !
Thank you ☺️
nice overshirt
What is the name of this cafe?
As a Serb , I like to eat burek slice after slice , if u get what i mean . If anybody saw how it looks like , u will know
Great video
Thanks!
Serbian is easy to read. Every letter sounds the same every time. Try to learn reading a bit better. Your pronouncination is pretty bad. :(
looks like such a nice stay!🤩
It was! :)
we'd definitely love to visit this place one day, wonderful!
Guys, you just have to take yogurt when having burek for breakfast, it's basically an obligation in Serbia!
Absolutely!!
Welcome ❤
Thank you :)
Pancakes in translation is palacinci, so yeah, nothing Bosnian about it lol. Also, we call all types of chocolate creams like Nutella eurokrem.
What a beautiful place, definitely worth the 93 pounds! I hope you tried the hot tub! :)
We did! Nice to splurge on nice accommodation every once in a while :)
@@MattLaurie for sure, we also always pick one of the cheapest hotel/airbnb, and going somewhere nice is such a treat! :)
I am Serbian and I hella didn't know what was that 3rd. dish before you wrote it's a goulash. Anyway goulash is Hungarian traditional food. Very tasty and great as well but it's a bit heavy if you are not too much hungry. 😊 Enjoy in Serbia though and come again. You should check some other places beside capitol Belgrade. Novi Sad and Niš are very pretty places as well and Zlatibor for nature, just not downtown of Zlatibor, it is ruined for all that construction work.
I honestly didn't have a great experience in Romania, I know my experience won't be a representation of the entire Romania. I really enjoyed my time in Hungary though. And thanks for the video.
Hellooooo from Bosnia and Herzegovina
Hello!
My dad and mom are from bosnia
Very nice video, as a french born I live in Serbia since 2020, but I have also Serbian origins and huge house with more than 1800 m2 in total spaces in a small location, very lovely... food in Serbia is really good for a reasonable price, and if you eat outside Belgrade it's generally up to 2x cheaper for sometimes even a better quality. I paid 190 euros for 7 few days ago in restaurant on the Danube, northern of Belgrade, few km, Dunavska Terasa in Banovci... And yesterday 40 euros for 3 in Nis an old restaurant (Nisljiska Mehana) with even better food, and few days ago 30 euros for 2 in Svilajnac in a restaurant named Grand, so the price can vary from 13 to 30 euros per person for very similar food, and huge portions, we generally eat more than traditionnal french people lol, price depends of location, in Center of Belgrade and Zemun it's generally 30-50% and sometimes much more. Jagodina a medium sozed Serbian city is much cheeper, you literally can eat for less than 10 euros, and more you go to south, cheaper it will be. I hope you have a nice time in Bekgrade.
Thank you ☺️
I doubt you arrived in Budapest...
Wow. Looks beautiful. Haven't been yet but we hope to visit one day. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
You should! And thanks guys!
great video you people...well presented and you gave an eye opener to Serbian food.
Thank you Diolch ☺️
Montenegro looks truly epic! 😍
