- In this video we are so excited to be exploring the beautiful city of Brașov, Romania!
We didn't have too much time in our Romanian road trip and we had to decide which places are worth visiting. We can confirm that Brașov is definitely a must visit!
From its food and old town, to the surrounding hills which can be reached by cable car, we had the best time!

That's so cool they have the name of the town up on the hillside like Hollywood. We can't get enough of all the Romanian food you guys have been trying. Looks delicious!

Hello there, enjoy your stay in Romania.
When it comes to Romanian soups, there's lots of diversity, which is why I highly recommend you to try something different each time: Ciorba de salata verde, ciorba radauțeana, ciorba de vacuța, ciorba de perișoare and ultimately ciorba de burta (personally, I don't really like it, but since it's traditional and well known, give it a try and see for yourselves). All of these have a sour-like taste, so expect that. As for desserts, I would recommend you to try out "lapte de pasăre", as well as "kurtos kalacs". Considering that the cold season is approaching, you may find people selling "zacuscă", which you're supposed to spread it on bread and eat it like that. It lasts for months as long as you don't open up the jar, so you can buy one and take it back home with you. For places to visit, I recommend you: Peleș Castle and Salina Turda (if you do go in there, have in mind that it's pretty cold inside, so be sure to dress up properly).

Between Bucharest and Brasov there is the royal city of Sinaia, a beautiful city worth visiting, traditional houses, Peles and Pelisor castles and a ski resort that also has a cable car. Also, between Bucharest and Brasov, after Sinaia, there is the town named Busteni, which hides the Cantacuzino castle and the longest cable car route, up to the Bucegi mountain plateau, where the Sphinx and Babele are found!
