Romania is in the top 5 most beautiful countries in Europe but Romanians don't seem to want to promote themselves to be flooded with tourists, they are a mysterious people. Still, maybe next time you would visit Trans-Fagaras highway. Many foreigners say about it that it is the most beautiful trans-mountain road in Europe, and why not, go to Maramures county, that is, I would say, the most traditional place in Romania. You would love to see the traditional dances that take place on Christmas or new years eve.
I live in Brasov since 4 years. You don't see the beauty of this country at first glance. But with every visit you will fall in love more and more! I recommend MK Apartments- take one Penthouse with Jacuzzi and in every evening you will have the stunning view to the mountains

Ha, ha, ha, the Westerners have a wrong idea about the Bran Castle. Once they visit it, they feel kind of disappointed finding out that Dracula didn't exist and Vlad III the Impaler has nothing to do with what they were thinking about him, Dracula and the castle.
The castle's owner, a Hapsburg, makes a lot of money from the people's spooky expectations and beliefs. Anyway, it worths a visit.
