- In this video we're spending 24 hours in the 6th smallest country in the world!
We honestly didn't know what to expect from Liechtenstein, but as we were nearby in Milan for the weekend, we decided to rent a car and head up to this gorgeous little country nestled between Switzerland and Austria.
We had so much fun, we hope you enjoy the video :)
Matt & Laurie :)
Wow!! I can’t believe this is the least visited as it’s absolutely spectacular! Your footage is truly amazing, so gorgeous! The snow is so beautiful and the mountains in the background of the town are so picturesque. Amazing! Thanks for sharing with us, new subscribers here! 😊💕
Thank you so much :)
Nice video Matt and Laurie.😃Really enjoyed the shots of the bonfire tradition signifying the end of winter. So eerie yet mesmerising!
Thank you so much :)
Thanks for sharing this small and snowy paradise. ❤❄ Everything looked so cozy and comforting!
Thank you :)
Every single frame you two filmed was beautiful! I can't believe it's the least visited place because it's breathtaking. 😊
Thank you / Diolch :)
Although small we loved travelling through Liechtenstein! Looks so beautiful in the snow as well.
It really is!
I want to Thank you guys for this perfect and professional video. Really enjoyed watching these incredible views.
Thank you so much for your nice comment :)
Loved watching this as I recently visited Lichtenstein a few weeks ago and I found it very nice and cozy. Was a lovely sunny summer day (quite the opposite to your experience) and I actually went to the same bakery as you guys did in Vaduz at 2:12 and it was quite the amusing throwback to see it in the video 😂
It’s such a lovely place! Any recommendations for a summer trip?
@@MattLaurie I came by train/bus from Switzerland (SBB train to Sargans then bus over the border) and it's deffo worth visiting some of the smaller quieter towns like say Schaan and others along the bus route. I got a day ticket for the whole country for about 12 CHF.
That looked a cold but great place guys . Loved the cable car going up in the snow 😃 ~ Anna
Thanks for watching!
Those views from the car omg 😍 great vid lads 😁
Thanks 😁
Liechtenstein looks fab! 😍 That always happens to us too, places we visit are covered by scaffolding!😂 Well done managing to fly the drone in that snow!👏
The drone did well in the snow! The drone shots of Vaduz where in severe wind and that was more of a challenge!
wow that sounds cold minus 3 ouch! we had that in finland it was minus 30 though but we didnt have proper clothing with us and omg we felt it so much lol best way to start the day with a nice hot chocolate and pastry. very cool you checked out this place :D the church looks beautiful with those views of the mountains :) the chairlift looks so fun :D great choice guys x
Thank you :)
The winter is beautiful there ❄👍
Liechtenstein looked wonderful! I loved the snow and your ride up the chairlift. I would love to burn a effigy of a witch to shorten winters here in Minnesota! That is an excellent tradition! LOL. 😀👍
Aha! Thanks for watching :)
I quite enjoy watching vlogs like this which show my tiny home country from the tourist's perspective and how travellers like u educate outsiders about this still relatively unknown piece of land in the middle of Europe. A lot of these type of vlogs can be kinda boring to me bc i can already imagine how all tourists either check out the princes castle, go up the mountains or just both (as you did) and therefore I thought it was quite cool that u included the "Funkasunntig" in the end.
But yeah, in total, it seemed like u had a lot of fun here and I'm glad about that :)
We’re so glad you enjoyed it. We really loved spending time in your country, a true hidden gem!
@@MattLaurie if u ever plan to revisit Liechtenstein, make sure to either visit during carneval (if u enjoy stuff like this, i'm personally not that much into it but it's cool i guess) or on the national holiday in August, as I think it's a pretty unique experience. As a child, the national holiday is much more interesting from my perspective/memory but it's surely worth seeing Vaduz being full of people and grabbing some international street food nonetheless. Also, you can get a free beer at the Prince's castle for example and public transport is free on that day too
@@hundert60dreihundert22 thank you for the recommendations! We would love to revisit and come back in summer 😄
how wonderful! visiting less popular countries is always so much fun 😍
thank you for this lovely episode, we're actually thinking about coming to Lichtenstein in the Summer 💛 Can't wait!
Highly recommend it! It was beautiful in the winter 👍
Super amazing and fabulous.. Just awesome👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
