So is better to buy the 3 day pass instead of different tickets for the villages and other places? what this include? We are going in Dec and trying to figure it out if we take a tour or do it by ourself
Hallo! Where is the best place to purchase the top of Europe pass? I will have the swiss travel pass for my trip in April/May 2022. Does that top of Europe pass include return tickets I would assume? Thank you so much for answering questions & making these videos- I want to watch them all, but also want to save the magic a bit!
When I remember my dad brought me to Jungfraujoch four times I can see he was the best dad ever 😊 your beautiful video brought back some amazing memories! Thanks guys 😀
Great content...It seems Switzerland 🇨🇭 is Tanzania of Europe when it comes to natural wonders. The mountains, rivers the greens etc just like my country Tanzania 🇹🇿.
Thanks for all the content you guys have put together. Currently on 5th day of an 8 day road trip across this beautiful country. Please do include and promote Via Ferrata hikes. This was such an amazing experience in Murren.
0:34 Beau-Rivage! That's travelling in style! Never been to the Harder Kulm although I flew over it many times in my paraglider. That area is simply amazing.
Its 20 years since my husband and i did erasmus in geneva would love to go back in the future when my kids are older. We have a 5mth 2yr and 7yr old. I seen your Geneva video that how i found your channel. Looking at your older video wish we explored better back then but information was much harder in 2001 to get. Im from Ireland.
Thank you so much for the video. Now I have some type of plan when I so to Switzerland. Now it doesn't feel so overwhelming see how the train system runs throughout the day. ☺️
How friggin gorgeous is that view. Holy what a village. Would be fun kayaking down that river with the fast moving water. What a crazy view at the restaurant. Switzerland is crazy beautiful. You are making me more and more wanting to go there. Could you imagine living near the waterfall. Wake up and see that every day. Yessss please!!
Brought back memories. Was at those places several years ago and loved every second. To me Switzerland is the best place in the world. I live in Scotland so I loved all the cool mountain air you have. So thank you for taking me back.
Brilliant. Interlaken looks a beautiful little village, can't wait to visit it September. Really love your videos, getting so many tips from them. Good work guys👍
Love a good train ride what beautiful places to explore. I won’t even try to spell them but they were very cool! Your room Was huge! Beautiful buildings and love the music and info. Put these on my list!
Hey guys cheers from Trinidad....bet you do not know where that is.....google,google😀...You are both so easy on the eyes and soft on the ears. What incomparable advice you give to those, like me who want to tour solo. The superb quality of your videos are an inspiration.A simple 'THANK YOU' seems inadequate.,so thanks a mil!!
That was interesting....even for me as a Swiss. The gondola is brand new and I remember we talked about this huge project when I attended tourism school in Luzern. To see it in action for the first time is amazing!
Thank you wonderful people for your informative videos!! I just got back from a lovely trip to Switzerland and your videos were sooo helpful!! I can’t say it enough! 😊
Excellent content. Thank you for sharing your recommendations. We were in Interlaken several weeks ago and checked the feeds to make sure it was clear before heading up to the top of Europe. I appreciated your tip to try Swiss white wine too. Subscribed and liking your videos. Can’t wait to return.
Wowww me and my husband went to the same lindt store and bought the same blue tin and filled it with chocolates. It was a better value for money and the tin can be refilled later with more lindt chocolates which can be bought anywhere in the world. However, I’m surprised the weather was so foggy in July. We went two weeks and the sky was crystal clear! Thank god! 😇
God bless us thank you so much and regards to all of you there in your country. Thanks From Lani D. Nepomuceno, Cagsawa ruins, Busay, Daraga, Albay Philippines
A few questions. Firstly, great videos, yall! So informative and so well produced! We are doing 4 full days with Interlaken as home base. Questions: 1. What small town, off-the-beaten-path places do you recommend from Interlaken? We were thinking Gimmelwald. Thoughts? 2. Would a day trip by train from Interlaken to Lucerne, then back to Interlaken, be too far or exhausting? 3. Will you rank order your favorite Swiss chocolate brands? 4. Any other must-see/highly recommended places from Interlaken? Thank you so much for your great content! Feel free to number answers.
Very very exciting. Very beautiful panorama......I love it. Yr video very helpful. I'm 64 yrs old and from tropical country. Someday I would like to visit there. It looks like firendly for the senior, doesn't it?
Wow, million dollar view from your room. I love the Harderbahn train ride. Going through the mountain was pretty cool. Amazing view at the top. Lauterbrunnen definitely what you think of when you try and picture a Swiss village. Another amazing view from Wengen. The ice palace was so cool. I love your videos, that are always so informative. Thanks for taking us to these beautiful spots.
Hello I just want to ask is it traveling by plain? how can going to hotel from the airport is der is transporting from hotel itself ? Or taxi how many hrs from airport going to your hotel
Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video. It has been very useful in our planning. I have a couple of quick questions! What was your starting time and how long did you roughly spend at each location?
i have difficulty to read all signboard (station) looking for a place to temp put my luggage to make myself more flexible to walk on some stations while i am passing them... eg: i would like to go to strawberries farm during my travel from interlaken to Bern.
Thank you so much for the tips. For this trip, which pass did you use? Is the Swiss pass worth it if we are during Zurich - Lucern - Interlaken (3 days) - Montreux and then Geneva? Loving all the videos
Hi! Thanks for all infos. Found your channel so helpful. Question, will I be able to use the Oberland Pass for Interlaken as well as Lauterbrunnen? Thank you so much!
God bless us regards to all of you there in your country. Thank you so much po. Let us help one another to back to normal our situation and back to school the children and youth. Thank you so much po. From Lani D. Nepomuceno, Cagsawa ruins, Busay, Daraga, Albay Philippines
Hey! Loved this video! My husband and I are traveling to Interlaken in December and what is the best way to get tickets to Jungfraujoch? I see where you can get the package ticket with train from Interlaken for like 210.00 US dollars, but I wasn’t sure if there’s a cheaper way! 🤣👏🏻
Perfect timing! We will be in Interlaken in a little more than one week after a week in Lucerne (we are just finishing up a week in Schaffhausen.) I am wondering if our Eurail pass will work on any of the railway systems around the Jungfrau
Unfortunately eurail doesnt work on the Jungfrau trains! But I do hope you enjoy Interlaken and Lucerne! If you have any questions while in Switzerland feel free to let us know! :)
I'm planning to be there early September. I hope you are taking the train from Lucerne to Interlaken, it departs every hour and it's a narrow-gauge cog-wheel affair that traverses the mountain range separating the two cities. It's a gorgeous ride and cheap! As for the passes, check Rick Steves' web site for the detailed information. If you are planning to use a lot of trains, cable cars, etc. you may consider the HalfFare (aka. HalbTax) _monthly_ pass for about CHF 130. It gives you 50% off _all transportation_ (including boats, etc.) for one month and it pays for itself with just one trip to the Jungfraujoch pretty much. In general, I recommend researching the passes beforehand, you'll save lots of money if you choose the right one. It all depends on the type of vacationing you are planning to do. One more little tip if you are from the US: if you use credit of check cards, always select "CHF" (not "USD") when the point-of-sale machine asks you which currency to choose. That way you force the international interbank exchange rate to be applied to your purchase which is _always_ better than the local exchange bureau's (which is what the "USD" option is trying to trick you into). The local currency setting ("CHF") is NOT the default, so you have to select it. It's all set up to get more of your money :-)
@@JanPBtest omg that second tip is incredible - I still have one of my US credit cards and was wondering this myself - you have given some amazing tips my friend! Much appreciated for sharing :)
@@TheTravelingSwiss Sure thing, and I looove your videos (just discovered them). I got that credit card tip from one of the travel shows by Rick Steves. I tested it once for 2 weeks in Interlaken by keeping the record of what the proposed rate was at the checkout vs. what I saw some time later on my bank account. It was not earthshaking savings but after 2 weeks of just buying small things like groceries, cable car tickets, etc., it ended up making the difference of about $25. Enough to buy a small lunch at Coop :-)
I have finally booked flights for 22nd aug so trying to figure out where to stay. I really want to be in the mountains but as only there 4 days don’t know of all the travelling would be worth it
Mal schauen.

What do you mean by the half-fare card? As tourists can we get one?
