I'm a little confused.. How do you make it a spawnable weapon? One you can just pick up and drop after. And does it replace all weapons of that variant rather than only one individual?

Im trying to make specific teams have specific loadouts, but for some reason it keeps trying to give players the weapons of both teams despite specifying what team ro apply it to. Everything else works with the loadouts except the weapons

This stream is shit. I do a horrible job expressing my issues with asmons take. I should have made an edited video response instead of live streaming it. Dont watch it if you value your time. Here are the core issues i have with asmons take - He doesn't specify who this document is for. Potentially misleading his audience to think its for 3rd party devs - He hand waves all of their naming requirements for being "woke". I dont think something being woke is good enough reason to not have it. This is a technical document at least engage with it in a more technical manner. Dont throw the baby out with the bath water - He said that we should bring back insane asylums and put the writers of the woke section in them. Imo this is him acting just as bad as the woke people hes so against. - He said this just makes this more difficult for devs / wastes time. The new woke section is mostly irrelevant anyway because not many people write code that genders things unnecessarily. With a few exceptions like black/white list or nuke. These things can be easily renamed in most basic text editors. Most actual IDEs make it even easier and can even warn you about naming conflicts before the rename happens. So even if you called something a "BlackList" its trivial to change. It seems he cares more about being anitwoke than having an actual productive discussion on why this is bad / good. It seems to mostly begin and end at it being woke. I dont think it just being woke is a good response. (i think his other opinions are weak) I honestly dont know what my undiagnosed adhd ass said durring this stream but this is my current position.

I was thinking of remaking a map from destiny 1 but destiny 1 is only on console. I dont think anyone has a 1:1 3d modelof any of the destiny 1 maps to my knowledge soooo it will be a bit tough.

Hello Derrik! Script Question! Is there anyway to restart match without having to hit the escape button then hitting the restart match button! There is not a restart match in the Events Area.

Is it still working for you? It behaves really strange for me. When I hold Caps Lock in-game, it shows the 3 movement arrows, it does not change the control scheme on the screen to the controller layout and it won't let me move with WASD, Space or C. So it kinda recognizes the simulated left trigger push, but it won't let me do anything with it. I basically move as around without moving the object with me and my mouse doesn't even disappear. If I hold the left trigger on my actual controller and move with WASD, it works... So idk. It's strange. I thought that maybe (since this video is 1 year old) they added a function to Caps Lock in Forge by now, so I remapped the simulated left trigger to another key that isn't even on English keyboard layouts (Ä), but that didn't work either. I basically just want to know if it still works for you, or if they cracked down on it. Hopefully I'm just missing something.

The engine changed a bit since this. One is a change in the physics to a more performant C# based physics engine and changing the assimp to Silk.assimp to help make it easier with asset compilation on non windows systems. Quite a few changes for 4.2 and looking forward to 4.3 one day. baby steps.

Hope you can help me bud :) ok I want the AI phantom spawner to to spawn every 300 seconds ( that's 5 Mins.) In the object browser/Spawn logic: I have it to reference script selected. Delay set to zero. The max delay is 100 seconds in that section. So I am trying to have the phantom to respawn every 5 mins. It can't get it to work. here is what I set up in the node graph: 1. On game start 2. wait for 10 seconds ( for testing only ) 3. Trigger IA Spawner 4: Phantom is my Object Spawner. connected to AI Trigger spawner node ) ( yes I have a script brain next to Phantom in map ) Still can't get the AI Phantom to spawn at all. Can you help? Thanks :(
