My biggest pet peeve about Forge is that even though it has all sorts of useful scripting nodes, too many basic object states / stats are fixed so you can't even make use of them regardless of scripting. I was trying to test the auto turret in my map and I had to scrap it because it's impossible to adjust its attack range, which should be the #1 variable you'd expect players to customize.
Im trying to make specific teams have specific loadouts, but for some reason it keeps trying to give players the weapons of both teams despite specifying what team ro apply it to. Everything else works with the loadouts except the weapons
I really wish you could edit the traits of weapons. For example, I could make a plasma repeater by changing the fire rate of the pulse carbine and changing the firing mode to fully automatic.
is there a way to make it so you just THRUST where your aiming, like a charge? like even when your in the air type of "charge"? like as if someone slapped a thruster on your back type of movement.
How do you make a custom equipment that uses the animation of a deployable cover or other equipments? I've seen other people make throwable bounce pads using equipment's
There is a trait called VFX overshield. or something like that, im not sure about the red light like shield though. If there is its inside of the trait tab
Really appreciate how you leave in stuff not working initially and you having to go back and figure out what went wrong. I'd like these videos a lot less were they just a clean pass.
Im trying to apply a trait set when picking up a certain sword on my map but i cant figure out how to seperate it from just any weapon pick up. Please help
@@derrikcreates I think ge was referring too the leaked build, there's a video out there with the Spartans being like mouse sized and the guns were normal. Would've been a great cat and mouse game mode
Is there a way to trigger grenades without picking them up and throwing them? Like if i wanted it to rain live plasma grenade. Would that even be possible through a script?
You're probably going to have to make a large ring, copy that ring repeatedly; rotating it at a set amount of degrees, like five until you have a ball.
Please keep pumping these videos out. Not a lot of videos with these sort of explanations.
This may be the first video i've seen that very clearly explained everything on the screen as if i were 5. and i love it! liked, subscribed!

Is any way to scale the players in game?
No sorry. you can only scale static objects. From a nodegraph perspective players are considered dynamic objects

Should work if I'm imagining it right...
There are no thin rings, I found a plan though so thanks anyway.
