Been looking for a tutorial for the more complex custom weapons and just not finding them There's a map that allows you to just combine whatever you want by using pings and one of the options it has as a weapon is "spartan fists" and it's just your bare hands and you can can smack enemies. I don't think there is an easy way. You need to use the on weapon pickup and check if its the same item and the pickup. Then give the player the combined gun. You could also do this on item spawned I think on item spawned might be better

When I go to click on the weapon type combination nothing happens. Like when you click on it, it lets you change your weapon to whatever you want it to be. But that option doesn’t happen on my computer. Any idea why?
How do I combine individual weapons that spawn on Weapon Racks? I tried to figure it out myself by using the "On Weapon Pickup" event but that just turns ALL of the weapons on the map into the same weapon.
The only why I know of is to, in that same OnWeaponPickup event you need to compare if they are the same weapon they are picking up. then replace the old weapon and give them a the new combined weapon like you are already doing. idk how weapon racks work with this. ive only done it with the normal spawns
Me and my friend spent like an hour or two in forge and all those bits on the nodes didn't work for us so we spent ages trying to figure out how tf to do it, turns out it was just buggy and we should've got a menu when clicking them :)

Well none of this was helpful for me. That weapon type box doesn't connect up to weapon on give specific weapon. Forge on halo infinite consists of watching tutorials that work and does exactly what people do and I never have it work.
I should stop clicking it that way for videos. If you open the node properties (like you do when editing normal items) you change it in the tab menu in the top left. To enable clicking exit the node graph and open the forge menu. On the tool settings tab (far right) scroll down to the very bottom abd the will be an option called "clickable Fields" or "intractact field" . Its under the node graph drop down. I'll make a video going over this. Its hard to explain

Im not sure where you are have trouble exactly. But quickly the nodes you need to give a player a br when they spawn is. The "OnPlayerSpawned" node and the "GivePlayerNewWeapon" node, like i showed at 0:45. do what i did at 0:45 but change the weapon type of the give player new weapon to a br. dont forget to set the weapon addition method to anything BUT "default" and "if room". if you still need help join the discord. either I or someone else will help you. discord.com/invite/9ywhRb88jD

Does it always has to be the weapon spawning on you inventory? I've never seen someone do a custom weapon to work as an arena spawning one

Less complicated maybe but from what I've seen of 5's forge its extremely limiting compared to infinites
