There is perfection in imperfection!!!!! Your sweater project is just perfect as far as I'm concerned. I think you are a "fudger like I am, LOL!!!! I don't think I've ever had a project that didn't have some of my fudging in it. After all, there are NO rules in stitching. Carry on Dena, carry on, LOL!!! Hi Dena, I’m catching up this video after already watching the next which you’ve already posted, somehow I missed one. I always enjoy sitting and doing my stitching while you share yours, it’s a bit like having a friend over for tea and crafting. On that note I’d like to ask if you can give another tour of your craft room/stitching area. My own is small just a wall in my bedroom, but very comfortable with large windows looking out to my bird feeders. I love to sew with sunshine especially in our cold Wisconsin winters I need to soak up daylight in any way possible. I keep much of my craft storage in bins under the bed and in a utility room in larger bins and shelving. I’m always interested in seeing how others sort and organize their areas to be comfortable and functional. Edit: You always seem so organized in your WIPs and how do you organize those? Seems you must be flipping through them in a way that makes it easy to find your fit prompts.

Always great to start my day with your video chats! They get my day started on the right note and todays was a little more exciting when I heard my name!! Looking forward to many more years of great video chats too! Congratulation on 9 years, and best wishes for many more! I definitely feel like I need a few more days in this new month of February...lots of travel for me and lots of goals I'd like to accomplish as well...time will tell! Good progress. My Plans worked out well in January, yet not a good start for February though. The stitched Sweater looks Fine to Me.

Beautiful progress for the last few days in January. I'm so glad your plans worked out. I love when a new month comes around, and I can work on some new and wip projects. I slacked off in January on my BAPs, so now I'm making plans to buckle down and get some serious stitches put in. I hope (and i just know) that your friend loved her quilt! Who wouldn't. Dena - what a dream vacation you & Tommy took! So happy for you guys to experience that! Def a bucket list for me as have always wanted to travel to Europe during the holiday season to see the various Christmas Markets as well as taking a Transatlantic Cruise! Such beautiful stitches as well! Sorry for the loss of Fred .. hopefully Coco will meet a new BFF soon to make more happy memories with! I wanted to share, I am also doing 2025 YOW, and was able to create an album with 10 projects. I also had my first finish, a blessing sampler. Woohoo!

Thank you for another chance to admire your stitching. I finally started stitching. It’s going well , I only had to frog twice. I’m stitching “Bee in my Bonnet Stitch Card set V”. It’s fun , but I like sewing better. I guess I don’t have enough patience. I can sew something and be done in an hour or less. I’m going to keep stitching. Once I’m done I’ll email you a picture. ( I’m not on instagram.) Poor Cocoa I feel so sorry about her reaction to her boots. Once she gets use to wearing them she’ll want to wear them all the time. So cute.❤Happy stitching.

Thanks for sharing with us. We're in Chicago area and it's been really cold here. Wish my little one would wear booties. It was quite a job getting her zip up coat on her this year, but finally got it mastered. Maybe next year we'll try the booties. My "Winnie" froze that that when I put her coat and harness on, Too funny!!!!

I'm glad you had a good time at retreat. Cocoa cracked me up with her boots. I put one only on a front & back foot so they had to walk. They got used to them quickly. Its always funny...like they stepped in something...lol

Cocoa is so very patient...I'm glad she is adapting to her booties! She will appreciate them outside for sure! Love the framed finish... You definitely have a great framer! I did my own YOW as well... I definitely do not like how much time posting and documenting takes up, but I love the motivation I get from playing the games and challenges we do with our stitching! Glad you enjoyed your stitching retreat and the company you were with. The finishes are certainly coming along this year so far. I have just ordered the Little House Needleworks’s chart as the phrase Always and Forever has been a saying my husband and I always use, so I also hope to stitch by our anniversary in July. Dena, does Always and Forever have any quarter stitches or specialty stitches? I love it but I am an Aida stitched . my husband and I will be married 40 years in may. Your framed piece is beautiful.

What a shame about your son’s trying visit getting to you. Fortunately he was safe.
