Roxanne, I do love color as well. I am finally at a stage in my stitching where I am adding color and changing colors. I used to think I had to follow the pattern exactly or it might not turn out pretty. I trust my own tastes more now. Dena
@@halfstitchcrossstitch2456 Exactly Right! We have to learn to trust what we like! I am sure the designer is just happy we loved there design! Making it our own is just the prize at the end of the rainbow!
I so enjoy your videos each time you post. You are the one I'm going to ask this question of because of the way you decide what to stitch on. I have about 12 pieces that I want to at least touch each month and can not (in my 81 year old brain] figure out how to do it. Is there a group or a page somewhere that would give me some ideas? Am waiting for part 2 to hear more about your trip and your stitching. Take care
Margie, you could certainly try a 2 day rotation for each of your WIPS each month. You could simply put their names on a piece of paper, put those papers in a bowl or cup and draw one out every two days to work on it and then draw out the next. In 24 days you would have worked on all your WIPs for two days and have the remainder of the month to go back and put stitches into the ones closest to a finish, or the one farther away from a finish to move it forward. Dena
