Yes, it was heaven! I stitched in the morning and then went to lunch (which I didn't have to cook). Or, we went on an excursion and came back to the ship in time for a meal (which again I didn't have to cook). Then I would stitch in the afternoon. So it was a fabulous time. Dena
WOW Dena thank you for sharing that wonderful cruise with us. You are having the time of our life and making so many memories. I know that little girl was missing you and is glad that you are home now Glad you had some great stitching time too. Happy stitching
Hi Dena I loved seeing and hearing about your trip to Spain. I'm glad you and Tommy are having fun. I love the stitching of the peacock and your finish on the Nov word play and my favorite of the dachshund's. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Oh I’m just loving and enjoying your cruise. Sounds like a wonderful trip. Bless darling Cocoa - looks like she’s having fun too. Waiting (im)patiently for part 3.
What a marvelous trip. Thank you so much for sharing. When we cruised one of my favorite things to see were the dancers preforming pieces native to their area. I can’t believe all the stitching you get accomplished! Your days are so full between ship activities and port excursions. Safe travels.
Debra, we were fortunate that we had to turn our clocks back an hour on multiple occasions so that gave me an extra hour of sleep on those nights. I was able to continue to get up early and get started with my day and stay up stitching each night without too much trouble. Dena
I can’t tell you, Dena, how much I have enjoyed your 😊cruising videos! BTW, thank you for taking us along on your journey!! The narration of your daily activities and stitching have been so much fun! 🤩 I came upon you by accident and so glad I did. I quickly subscribed and liked! Thank you! And also your stitching is stunning!
Dianne, thank you so very much for letting me know you enjoyed the cruise videos. It is just a way to share the balance in my life of my hobbies. We love to travel together and I love to stitch, so I combine them as best I can. Happy Stitching! Dena
Jean, thanks so much for watching the second part of my travels. I am happy to say the third part is almost ready and will cover the rest of the travels. Dena
What a fabulous trip! A trans-Atlantic crossing - no wonder you took so much stitching. I've done lots of cruises, but not a crossing. As for what day it is, the mats in the elevators on Holland America ships have the day on them. Very helpful! Your excursions sound wonderful - that basket ride looks like so much fun. Your sister's gift looks great stitched on that fabric. I had to laugh at your miles/kilometers mix up. For Canadians of my generation it can be confusing - or maybe it's just me. We learned the English measures in school, then they switched to metric. Now some things are in one, some in the other, some in both. Looking forward to Part 3!
What a fantastic trip you guys planned! I love all the things you are doing. And, still stitching, too! Congratulations on finishing November. It looks great. The exercise room story is hilarious and definitely something I would do. Lol. ❤
Judy, yes, it is funny what you learn as you travel. We are all so comfortable with what we do at home, we don't even realize it is different in other places. LOL. Dena
Dena - A finish while on your fabulous vacation - how awesome! I love getting to travel vicariously through your videos. Happy stitching and Merry Christmas! - TaMara
It's wonderful to see you Dena! I'm so glad that you enjoyed your cruise. What wonderful adventures you had! Thanks for taking us with you. Congrats on your finish and thanks also for sharing Cocoa's adventures with her pal. Hugs to Cocoa and Happy Stitching!
Such wonderful recaps of your daily stitching and events on that wonderful cruise. I loved seeing a bit of your excursion to Santiago de Campostela in Spain… my husband’s cousin has lived there since the late 90s with her family and I particularly loved seeing that part of your video. Congratulations on finishing November Wordplay.
Thanks Norma for letting me know that you really have a connection to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. We loved it so much. My hubby wants to do the pilgrimage now. Dena
@ I remember a program I saw years ago, might have been on PBS, of a person training for the pilgrimage and then starting the walk from a southern city in France and traveling all across the northern part of Spain until his arrival at Santiago. It was an interesting program - the party of walkers had a certain amount of walking hours each day, and stayed at a different hostel each night. The walk was grueling for some but most made it to their destination. I think your husband would love it, and I think he’d do quite well on the walk. What an amazing experience that would be!
Thank you for a wonderful video and trip. I can't wait for number 3.
I had such a great time on the trip, and I can't wait to share the rest with you!
I love hearing of your great trip and seeing the photos. No cooking, plenty of time to stitch and seeing the world. Fabulous!

Glad you’re having a wonderful time. It’s so nice that you’re able to stitch. Be safe ❤.
Linda, if I didn't stitch I don't think I would enjoy traveling. Dena

welcome back - you were missed
Thanks so much Lynne! I am glad to be home. Dena
Your cruise sounds fantastic! There is a lovely film with Martin Sheen called The Way about a man’s journey on the pilgrimage.
That is the exact pilgrimage that I was speaking about in the video. My hubby now wants to do it really bad! LOL. Dena
How was the Bay of Biscay ? Hey friends is cute. Enjoyed your video and happy stitching
Neil, we had wonderful weather and smooth sailing the entire trip. Every place we toured was beautiful in its own individual way. Dena
