Im very interested in the tire clearance on your tracker. How much space do you have between the tire and the frame on the front after adding the wheel spacers? Did you happen to see how much contact you were getting with those tires before installing the spacers?

Cheers, need to replace the hideous chain rattle from the top tensioner and needed to see which tensioner I needed. Avoiding replacing the whole timing chain for now unless I see an issue

I also have the smaw two door and put the manual lockers on. It's nice to always have 4wd when needed

I had so many issues finding because mine is a 5 speed and parking brake doesn't let drl's come on while brake is engaged. I had to chaulk wheels and put parking brake down.

Update Since I didn't know the position in plug of correct wire. I referred to your video and repair manual wire diagram. And found correct wire by removing red/white wire from plug to replace in plug if I was wrong. Taped it up. Looks good so far. Thanks for your video

I have a 2000 vitara and my wire in that location on the plug is black and white. Opposite corner on plug is white red stripe. Can you clarify where the connector release is on the plug. Plz

yo quick question dawg. I have a rattle on my suzuki and its coming from the front end either in the engine bay or near. Ive tightened everything on my exhaust and took some heat shields off and still nothing. you have a possible clue?

Recently had a engine and light problem, and battery drain problem. Didn't think I had DRL because it never worked, but the auto headlamp module worked when it gets dark. I thought both functions worked through the DRL module so I just unplugged it under the dash. Turns out unplugging it had no affect on the dome light function or the auto headlight function (WTF?). We'll see if it takes care of my battery drain. Way too much wiring in these Trackers and no service manual I could find has the section "8" wiring diagrams.

I dod the same woth the 2.7 from the suzuki XL7s. Can't remember the cut off year but a 2002 fits in the 3rd gen Chevy Trackera (1996 - 2004) as if it were stock. Pulled the wire harness and basically just slapped it in. So much fun, so ballsy.

I look that tracker have 235 75 15 tire in the rims factory? Y make easy?

My roommate has an 01 tracker and the headlight won't turn off at all even with the engine off and key out. We'll see if we can get to the module to cut the wire.

So I'm gonna do the same swap in my 2 door hardtop, is there any tips you can give, like will the v6 engine mounts bolt to the 2 door and will the 2 door diff and trans work well with the v6 I gave the auto trans, will swap it soon

I wonder if you can show me how to fix my four-wheel drive shifter. what could happen if the four wheel drive shifter lever went sideways. mine's laying on its side at the moment. I hate to admit it but I was sleeping across the two front seats, and when I woke up the shifter lever was laying on its side. Possibilities of a just slipping out of its socket or breaking.? I had a Suzuki SX4. The engine blew .. I wish I had done an engine swap even a stock 2.0 liter but I Wonder if a Vitara 2.4 could have been swapped or even a V6 ? If I had extra cash I would buy another SX4 in a heartbeat.
