I had a Suzuki SX4. The engine blew .. I wish I had done an engine swap even a stock 2.0 liter but I Wonder if a Vitara 2.4 could have been swapped or even a V6 ? If I had extra cash I would buy another SX4 in a heartbeat.
Will the 4.2 v6 bolt up to the 97 auto trans and what wire harness did ou use
I doubt it will bolt up . I used a 99 GV manual harness

Nope, completely different
MrSputnik1988 is there a different clutch housing that can be purchased or and adapter plate i really prefer the manual transmission I hate automatics with off-road especially the type of off road trials around here you would be in a world of stuck if you tried off-roading with an auto transmission

No, I have 5.13 factory, and the donor I ended up using had 4.30 gears
