You likely have a waterlock on the coolant lines going into the idle-air control valves. Check that there is water flowing through that long red hose. That's what was causing mine to idle too fast. Took so long to work out what was wrong.
To add to that, if you have replaced the engine you might want to check that the coolant manifold is the same as what came with the car. Because the motor is higher relative to the radiator the trackers/vitaras have different coolant manifolds than other cars with the G16B. The trackers/vitaras have an additional outlet.

No snobs in that workshop! 👍
The good ole FMU I remember them days lol Brent I'm sure in the beginning you had them as well cause your that RAD OG to be honest if it wasn't for you and Lisa Kubo and few others the sport wouldn't be what it now. Great stuff guys...
I remember getting smoked by Lisa at E town back in the day lol.
@@southjerseysound7340 yeah those were the Nopi days man I was in highschool almost 15 years ago. Did you smoke you or smoke u like 2-3 cars lol That's awesome though
@@stinky15552The Nopi Nats was crazy times. But being a VW guy it was tough to hang back then. I never could make power like the Honda's but around 99 or so people went crazy when I came out with a AWD MK II Golf GTI. It killed them off the line yet the fast ones would pass me on the back half lol. I used a euro MK II golf Synchro shell that I swapped vins on lol because it was easier than swapping the pans. Then as I found the weak links I changed over to Haldex parts from a Audi TT Quattro. We had to custom wire a controller to fool the Haldex system allowing the car to turn the awd on and off. It was murder on the streets because so few knew it was awd because they'd see a fwd burnout ;-) Back then if you ran a 11 you where doing something, it's crazy to see how far things have come.
I gotta lifted Isuzu trooper 2 on 35" bfg, just pulled the turbo diesel. You know anyone that wants or needs a roller, it's yours.
A k swapped jdm 4x4 would be interesting.
So in & down for burnouts...got it. And if i know Brent buddys total bill came to 1 hug.

Love for the handicap community!
You guys are awesome!
There is supposed to be a idle up solenoid for Ac and power steering when there engaged.
4:53 Good move on getting the bench vice with rotating head. Most vices I see on YT are the basic style.
Hey the Boss said give it some more. Why didn't it get more? PFI is Brent no? Lol great helping it be drivable and functioning.
A guy I know mods sidekicks to run a Honda ecu and a y8 intake. These things are cool I wonder if they have the same capabilities. 🤔
8v or 16v?
I’m not sure. I’m not too savvy on sidekicks. I just know he’s built quite a few of them.
Any links to the stuff he's done?
No links he had one for sale a while back and just got another one and did the same thing to it.
