very cool fixing to do this swap in my 2000 4door auto seeing as mine is a 4door it sounds like it should be pretty straight forward. hope all is well and have a great day look forward to seeing some more.

I've been wondering about this swap with my '03 2-door 2.0 liter. Looking forward to your updates.

I thought the v6 trans would bolt to the 1.6 t-case

Manual V6 tranny has a different tail section for some reason. Totally different design so you have to use the manual V6 transfer case. The auto transfer case won't bolt up to the manual transmission

So if I take my 2.7 out of my Suzuki Xl7 auto and put it into my 4 door Chevy tracker (01 v6 to a 99 auto 4 banger). It should all bolt up?

I have the 2003 Chevy Tracker, the Gas Evap canister is in-between the frame rails, should I be concerned about it being there and wheeling ? Thank you in advance

It's not in the best place, but my brother in law wheeled his 01 with the EVAP in the same place for years and never damaged it

They are pretty well built... I'm impressed on the engineering of theses things, all but the front ends 🙈 Really nice on how well things are tucked up in the frame rails ! I made up a nice skid plate for the front and planned on doing a full skid back to the rear end

Did you finish the v6 swap?

Nah, Not yet.. I barely even started it. I just lost compression on the 4 cylinder, so I'm prolly gonna start the project in the spring when it warms up
