I’m looking for more Chevy trackers to work on and play with now I really like to have more Chevy trackers because I want to build a modified rough truck
Nice articulation. Hey, did you ever run a compression test on that xl7? I ask because my 04 Grand has 152,000 on it and it was kicking down out of overdrive on a long rise headed up to my driveway (50mph zone) and when I considered the mileage I ran a can of restore thru it about a week ago. Like magic when I had about 100 miles on it after the restore went in it stopped kicking out of overdrive on that incline. Obviously I had some compression loss. Really wish I had tested it before the restore. But she seems pretty snappy now. Only about 200 miles on it after the restore went in. I know you say the xl7 runs great but it DOES have 150,000 miles. Just a thought for a video idea for you.
Thanks, I might have to do a video on compression testing.. I have not done one on the XL7, I haven't felt the need to, but I'll prolly do one now at some point
MrSputnik1988 I didn’t think I needed it either. My grand I picked up a year ago and the guy had receipts for all maint and oil changes, brakes, etc for the previous three years he owned it. It was more of a, “if it were anything OTHER than a Suzuki, I would KNOW at 150,000 miles it would need a compression test so maybe....”
Kind of hard, I've seen a couple around but the main problem is in the north the rust took most of them and in the south if somebody wanted a 4 wheeling toy they usually went with a c/k10 or a bronco
Hey. I am running a lock right #1532 in the rear. I am not running the factory carrier, I am actually using a carrier/ring and pinion from a 96-98 tracker. The design of the older carriers are better and they are completely drop in with no mods.. you just need the 96-98 ring and pinion. I do not know if the lockright lockers will drop into the 99+ carriers because they were actually designed for 98 and earlier. The front diff has been modified. I no longer have the air pump and shift on the fly system. It is strictly and open diff with lock out hubs.. like the old Ford's.. hope that helps!
Just picked up a '99 4 door. Glad to see that they are not totally street bound 4x4s. Thanks for the show.
TrackKicks are definitely some capable rigs, I reckon you’ll be happy with your purchase. Good luck out on the trail!
I’m buying one for this coming summer so I got a rig for me and my dogs they are sick

I have a 99 two door with minimal mods. Very good off road capability

do you have a suspention lift whit your 235-75-15 tires ?
It's gone through stages, but when I was running 235's, I ran a 2in suspension.. now I'm on 31's with 2.5 suspension and 2 body
There’s one down the street from me for $1800 How easy is it to find parts for this?

Transmission parts are so hard to find
What model and brand of rear locker are you using???
And does it work on the 4-door v6 model and do you have ever modify the front diff in any way ??
