i think dave filoni and the fellas at lucasfilm purposely changed anakins entire personality in the clone wars to make him more likable. for someone who is called the “chosen one”, you’d probably expect them to be more heroic, charming and something of a great leader in a brutal conflict. someone you can look up too. someone that gives out hope. This adaptation of Anakin may not match well with the main continuity of the prequels, but it shows just how much time passed from AOTC to ROTS and shows how much of a war hero anakin really was during the clone wars and how he’s ACTUALLY the chosen one. From matt lanters mature and confident take, to hayden christensens edgy and kept to self take shows how much anakin has changed throughout his life. These are two completely different timelines from season 1 of TCW to ROTS. I wouldn’t say it’s an argument on “how inaccurate is matt lanters portrayal of anakin compared to hayden christensens”, but more of “how well did matt lanter portray an anakin skywalker DURING the clone wars”. In the ahsoka show, Hayden Christensen reprises his role as anakin but noticeably acts a bit different than his usual acting in the prequels. he acts more like anakin from TCW. The change in his voice and his mannerisms was intentional, because this is how anakin is portrayed in TCW. the writers and hayden christensen paid homage to the animated series by adapting it in live action so well just to give us a better visualization of how the clone wars looked.

As someone who speaks spanish i have to say this is why i prefer to watch Star Wars dubbed, since they kept the same voice actors for Anakin and Obi-Wan in the movies as well as in both clone wars series, which makes it feel more connected.

God, I wish Christopher had been able to have a longer career in acting. You can see he would've been really good in more down-to-earth dramatic and comedic roles. He had great gravitas as a young man and would've been that much more so in later life.

There are acutely study’s that show that some soldiers Subconsciously change thier voices during a war to give themselves more confidence. My haedcsnnon was always that Anakin did this during the clone wars and only stopped doing that during the end of the war . And no one commented on it in univers because they were just glad he was sounding like his old self again

I can't believe that Mike Keaton and Chris Reeve were in a movie together. It's truly astounding. It also shows both men could function outside of their beloved superhero roles which they brought to the big screen with perfection. It's bittersweet that Mr. Keaton is thankfully still with us yet Mr. Reeve unfortunately has been gone for the past two decades. 😢 Farewell to the quintessential Man Of Steel.

I saw “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” yesterday… and realizing both Keaton and Reeve were around the same age… sad to think on what could have been. Bonus… Lynda Carter is also in their age group… missed opportunity by WB.
