Star Wars fans, the real star wars fans, not the lazy casual morons who love Red Letter Media soundbites, loved Hayden as Anakin. What he's talking about is how the media back then mocked and overly criticized him and his performance as Anakin. Now that Disney owns Star Wars, the media has done a complete 180 on how they approach and critique him.
Have always absolutely loved Hayden as Anakin. He's always emotionally resonated with those of us who aren't npcs spewing repetitive dogma mixed with childishness and sheer ignorance. I'm someone who tolerates absolutely 0 denigration and slander towards the pt. Don't care for it, ain't gonna hear it in any way, shape, or form because it's all npc dogma and it comes from all kinds of sides. But indeed media, journos, critics and salty, whiny fanboys can all fuck off and have been talking that shit. Fans, legit fans from just about all walks of life always loved and cared for the pt and Hayden as Anakin. Having said that I really wished George made a supplemental clone wars film around 2007/2008 era 3 hours long with all the actors close in age and the characters fresh on their minds and have the same prequel design team and animators and of course Nick Gillard, etc. and do it all in one shot with no Filoniverse crap ever being made. Aotc, 2003 CW, and this supplemental cw film coupled with a 4 hour cut of rots as well as the game are more than enough to showcase the clone wars truly.
@@thesentinel5523 I think there was a lot of wasted potiental in the years in between George selling the company. Strongly wished that instead of greenlighting the animated 2008 cw that eventually gave away to Filoniverse crap, he had heavily considered doing a live action one with all the actors, 3 hours long highlighting the second year of the war and having the most authentic prequel era experience remain intact with all the character, personality, and uniqueness George always instilled onto his films rather than spawning the faux prequel era that is TCW that has skewed everything smh. Also in my heart of hearts, really wished George was able to tell the actual true history between the jedi and sith, rule of two, darth bane's backstory that he had outlined in the tpm script and was almost mentioned by Yoda in the film before being cut sadly. And also perhaps telling the story of darth plageuis and Palpatine to accompany the pt as well. And of course if he hadn't sold would've absolutely loved to have seen his sequels deepening the mythology with the whills and the nature of force ghosts and seeing Anakin's force ghost with Hayden giving advice to Luke would've been so great and given Hayden a new angle on the character as he's now back on the light side, a part of the force, and past the aftermath of being Darth Vader and restoring balance back to the galaxy. Now it would've been up to Luke to maintain that balance along with Han and Leia.
There was no "flirting". They were both kids dumbass. He was 9 she was 14 (she was no fucking late teen or adult woman weirdo). He was a younger kid she was an older kid. They were friends, it's that simple. It honestly makes me question why there's certain people who believe or even perceive any sorta shit like that within this shitty fan base, makes you wonder lowkey.... Anyways for Anakin it was a childhood crush and someone who was kind to him and comforted him on the way to Coruscant after having left his mother as one example (if you perceive or read into anything remotely sexual or sexual tension or whatever between them in that scene or the film in general you're a fucking moron first off and weird af.) For Padme it was someone whom she befriended and knew was gonna be someone special. There's a reason why Anakin is a child, a child prodigy btw not sure if you caught that tho lol probably not, in the beginning if you do your research and have proper media literacy. Having Hayden in another film would be great but that's simple just do it in a cw supplemental film complementary to the prequels. But Jake Anakin is part of the saga and part of his journey despite what dipshits may believe or say yes he is important and part of the story overall as well as crucial to that one film itself let alone the saga. If you let go of your ignorant fanboy mentality at least for a second and don't follow the twisted and ugly, false npc perceptions out there by other dipshits then just maybe you might see something, like the bigger picture and see an artist telling an honest and purposeful story, making 3 non industry bs films, experimented and innovated filmmaking and storytelling. Oops this might be too much, too soon and too advanced for you. But nevertheless it is true.

@@anthonygarcia8749 That would have been fucking amazing. Just imagining that is awesome.

Great find Sentinel. Proof it was the media, right from Hayden's lips.
👍
Hayden did such a brilliant job, he's the one true Anakin. Matt Lanter just doesn't feel like Anakin in my opinion.
Fan here 😎🤙

To be honest if it wasn't for George Lucas then Star Wars wouldn't have existed
FACTS ^^^^^^^^
What video/interview is this from?
It's a clip I found on twitter. Don't know what interview it's from.
Episode 1 would've been better to start with Hayden's Anakin, instead of a little grade-school child flirting with a grown or late-teen woman.

She was 14, my dude. He was 9.
