Socrates believed evil done by men was do to ignorance & the lack of a rational thought process. For what philosophical minded person would choose to do something that goes against the teachings of a philosophically grounded person who seeks to understand & be at harmony with 🌎. Evil tends to blind a person to there hubris & lack of examination of what there actions have done & most likely will lead too. That is why philosophy not to mention the good book teaches that the good life for a human being is one that is contemplative, active, somewhat fatalistic & selfless. But what’s a couple thousands years of rigorous thought & implementation of such ideas that created the greatest civilization in known historical times matter 🙃 c’mon on man it’s 🤡🌎 time 😵‍💫

Excellent point. Star Wars, like the entire clown world now, has this Nietzsche-like moral ambiguity being shoved down our throats.

This is the one thing I hated about the Lego Star Wars cartoons (Disney), even though I fricking love them as a whole, all the villains KNOW they are evil, and that just doesn't work. It makes them uncompelling. They even had a joke where Naare and Roger are talking back and forth and she says "Mmm... nope, evil. 😈" I believe she should've said: "Oh, Roger, there is nothing evil about my intentions. The evil are the Jedi warmongers, seeking to put an end at peace. That is why they were wiped out. I intend to bring peace through the Empire." or something like that. I never did like the Disney Star Wars takes on villains. They're really one-dimensional, black and white.
