Question Filoni simps: If Filoni really was "George's Apprentice" and they have a great "bond" where George sees him as a "spiritual successor", then why did George handpick Kathleen Kennedy to run all of Star Wars, not just the buisness side from that point forward? I know that's got to hurt but eventually you'll see the same "I'm a fan like you guys" con he's been pulling on us since 2008. Filoni is just a casual fan with a surface level understanding of the broader themes, motifs, mythic tropes, etc. that encompass George's 6 movies. It's his political acumen that has kept him around through multiple regime changes.
Despite how frustrating it is when people defend Filoni religiously it is a nice change that recently more and more people are starting to wake up and realize that he's not that much different from Rian Johnson and J.J and if anything has done more damage to the franchise than they have. Every time Filoni says stupid shit it makes me want to hear George's current opinion on him more and more.
I never have been fond of him since the clone wars later seasons included are only meh in quality & only some good in concept but not very... high quality ever only slightly by the end. It was never better than the cartoon tarkovsky made
See there you have it I had no intention of there being more movies so everything that Disney has made and simply Disney Star Wars and has nothing to do with lucasfilm so what they need to do is change the name of lucasfilm to Disney Star Wars and stop pretending that they know what they're doing
