But it's not just that they misspelled it. Francesca, Akshay and Sophie all PRONOUNCED it "Artic" rather than "Arctic". They didn't misspell it, they got the WORD ITSELF WRONG. I think that's even worse than a spelling mistake

It's not even as though all of the people would be that incompetent in real life. The tasks are created in a way that the candidates are set up to fail. These guys are working two to three days intensive doing tasks that by rights should be done in at least 3-4 weeks. That's if the industry falls in their expertise, which it usually won't. And then they're given a day or two's rest before being woken up at silly o clock with 20mins notice to repeat it all again. Of course these guys are going to look like imbeciles!

In terms of marketing/entertainment for the bcc, it would be better and more enjoyable for the viewers to watch something that’s funny due to people not having a clue 😂, personally I would much rather watch something where it’s going to make me laugh.

Spelling isn't her suit. She wasn't chosen for who Harpreet needed..She may have not wanted Harpreet to win. she wanted Brittany and herself* she also said Nick in another interview. I think Akeem was nice but being dragged to different( sometimes minor decisions) so easily is not a great leadership skill; it seemed he would change his mind anytime someone said anything different to what he thought from what was shown on camera and this might be unfair in terms of the footage. Its definitely good to be adaptable and listen but it seemed he really lacked confidence when it came to calling the shots. I think he was genuinely a nice guy though and wanted to bring his team along with him but went to the point he was being sidelined and undermined by his team as they knew that he would just shift if they wanted him to. He did win yeah but the teams they were against were disastrous. The Apprentice is a game as well and you might listen to your team so you aren't 100% accountable if you lose so its hard to know if people would work like this in running of a business.

It was fun watching you participate in this show but I'll pass on buying whatever you're selling." For example, Harpreet's store looks like it was trying hard to look like Creams at first, not really original (it's a very famous dessert parlour in the UK. the desserts in Oh So Yum aren't anything crazy or that different, with overused flavours like oreo and biscoff and the colour scheme was pretty much the same) the newer and improved logo does look better now tho, but the desserts are meh. and Marnie's gym also didn't really interest me. I still keep up to date with Alana's baking business, Ridiculously Rich. It's doing well and is actually really good!

Not trying to sound sexist but why do the male teams in most Apprentice seasons suck at designing stuff 😂 not saying the ladies are always on par with their designing skills, but the dudes definitely do worse often times lol!

I love the BBC, it has created notable properties throughout the decades of British television but there is something terribly wrong with the production companies they work with. Their association with Shine is a little to be desired after the whole Gregg Wallace fiasco and when I think apprentice, I think "wow the BBC is working with a company called Naked to make the apprentice" but that's another issue. The company running the Apprentice (especially now) are really going beyond the call of duty to think what is important in the nature of their ip. Is it integrity or is it view and of course the answer to that question is "integrity don't get reviews". Sad as that might be, there's truth to that statement. Ok so how are we going to get more views and somebody at Naked has decided to really wind up the level of absurdity regarding contestants. These contestants have all been told that they are ambitious entreupeneurs who are going to make their millions by not exhibiting much of a cognitive capacity for basic skills like spelling. Personally, I think these people are being exploited, they're lambs to the slaughter in the big world of television. I understand it's a difficult era for terrestrial british television to exist in the modern day competing alongside the streaming giants that have moved into the public consiousncess in the recent decade. Honestly, I'd really love UKTV to remould itself into something less cynical than this cash grab. Give tv writers with new ideas more of a chance. The apprentice ip is 20 years old and I'd really love to see something else (not neccessarily reality but I know it's a cheap option compared to other options). BBC execs really need to sit down with themselves and think of new ideas and ask tv writers who a re truly trusted in the UK to come up with some new material. I'm not saying it's going to be easy but I don't want to feel depressed while watching tv and a young up and coming lady in business spelling arctic wrong on a logo just feels like a proverbial smack in the face for me. That's her legacy and I really don't want it to be

Yes, it is amusing, but the format is broken and also quite manipulative. They separate the team and ask them to make decisions that would never be made without clearing with each other. For example, the people who might design a logo or a character are deliberately kept out of contact with the other people who are deciding what the product is called and what it is. I defy even exceptional creatives to get that 100% right, you just wouldn't do it.
Furthermore, too many challenges rely on cooking. While lot's of businesses might concern catering, it isn't helpful for the candidates themselves to do it. What exacerbates this, is that they often go through a charade of negotiating a price per head for an event with a catering company, but then all the catering company do is give them the ingredients and they make it themselves. That isn't how it works. I think the show needs to stop taking audiences for total fools and make the challenges much more about business, you could still make this entertaining.
