Great video Woody! I do New Year's resolutions each year and I find them especially helpful since living with stage 4 like yourself. I have resolved to run a triathlon as well as offering myself to several cancer organizations I participate in to be available to mentor newly diagnosed patients. Sharing our story like we do. Gotta stay positive. Can't let it beat us. And need to remember that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

Hi Woody Happy new year to you. Being a Christian has helped me immensely. Having the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ my Lord. He is the strength of my life. Havnt felt overwhelmed at any time during my stage 4 journey. Have exercised daily, eaten healthily, served my community, enjoyed my family. Taken up lawn bowls, meeting people. I plan on continuing this into this year. Cheers. Ian

Woody, in response to your question, I am not going to make any change in my motivations. I’m highly motivated because my purpose guides my cancer existence. Cancer controls my life,but my personal purpose manages it. For right now, no change needed. Blessings Woody.

Happy new year Woody! I appreciate your collective approach to dealing with prostate cancer. I hope to be more in the moment, and cutting myself some slack when things go pear shaped. Happy New Year Woody🎉. I am glad your PSA result was a reduction. I will be positive with my partner and do more exercise.

As of the week of Christmas, received my pathology back, not good Gleason 10 and aggressive PC detected on all cores so throughout the whole gland. Waiting for the PMSA as there is some flares on my Iliac bone, but lymphs and bowel area outside of the prostate appear clear. So not sure if it has mets yet, but got a scary fight in front of me. So to your question what am I going to do this year. I am going to fight! Everything the medical blokes advise plus increase in physical activity (as much as I can knowing that is going to be a battle as well once treatment starts), radically modify my diet, and as you have been a great proponent of walk! Thanks Woody for being a great inspiration, god bless.

Great to hear that Christmas gift. Any drop in PSA is better than any gift at this stage of our life of living with Stage Four Prostate cancer. Keep up the good fight. God is with us. St. Paul's teaching of the Gospel reckons that you have Faith in the Lord but also do some work of your own. And that's why we must stick to our treatment plan. Take the medication and stay positive.

Good to hear about your progress on this incurable disease. The fact that you can still do these videos, is encouraging for me with my own videos to inform my families and friends on my own condition with my Advanced Stage Four Metastatic Prostate Cancer. I'm into my sixth month of hormone therapy....erleada and lupron. My PSA has gone down to .14 and hope to keep going down and not upward. Sending love to you and your family. I love this community. You should look up Guy Tennenbaum. A dramatic but documented case study. He was lost cause, stage 4 prostate cancer. Told to get his affairs in order, nothing to be done. Now he is No Evidence of Disease (NED) largely through his own initiatives with metabolic methods. Easy to find online. Metabolic for cancer is now getting very serious study from mainstream cancer researchers. Also, it can work as a complete COMPLIMENT, not a replacement for standard of care treatment.

Nothing beats good news during the holidays! And also, I really resonate with what you say about staying in the present moment and only turning to the past to revisit positive memories. It feels especially relevant to me right now as well , great advice. The present holds so much peace and tranquility, and power.

Hi Woody, Thank you for contributing your experiences. I also have prostate cancer and like you have received 4 injections of hormone therapy. I have experienced significant side effects including mood swings ( sometimes anger) and depression. I have been given a book which is absolutely the best and everyone on HT should read and also their loved ones.The book is "Androgen Deprivation Therapy" , An Essential Guide for Prostate Cancer Patients and their Loved Ones. I was given mine by Prostate Cancer UK but I have also bought a copy through Amazon...Price about L18 (RRP L40). I strongly recommend it to anyone on ADT.

Great news Woody. Radiation works wonders, doesn't it? Fear? I understand, as we live blood test to blood test, don't we? That blood test you got means you have just added months of good health to your life. Hope your testosterone is going up as well. So pleased you have received good news for Christmas Woody. My husband also has advanced prostate cancer - his last PSA was stable, the best Christmas present we could have received. You have uttered such wise words Woody about trying to live in the present, this being the time to give and receive love and make beautiful memories. I shall try and hold onto them, both today, and in the months ahead. I hope you and your family have a really good Christmas and wish you the very best for 2025.

I’m Happy that your PSA dropped….as I go through my journey, my fears have matured as time passes. As a cancer patient, fear is associated with death and loss of control of owns life. I talk about my fears, that is how I manage my fear. Happy holidays Woody😊😊😊
