Happy to hear that the PSA is headed downward and that the side effects of hormone therapy are lessening. Mine did not go away until months and months after stopping Lupron. I may take Casodex next year, if radiation does not keep the PSA down. I hear the side effects of Casodex are less that drugs like Lupron. Keep the faith Woody. Rob in Phoenix
Nice to see you Woody. You're keeping very positive, and i'm glad for that. Like you said, stage 4 is not the end. I'm 12 years in with stage 4, with my latest diagnosis with lymph node metastisis. The Xtandi is something they didn't have back 12 yrs ago, so like you say, they can keep us going. I've slowed down with fatigue, but can still get out and about in nature. I find it's not what you can't do, but what you can do. Good vibes all round mate, and like you said, it helps others to deal with this by showing what is possible. Good news woody, my husband's radiotherapy has just finished and didn't really have any side affects.But now he's been quite ill.dizziness,fatigue,continuous going to the loo hopefully these symptoms subside over the,weeks
