Merry christmas. I’m Kristoffer from Stockholm sweden. I was diagnosed with gleason 9 prostate cancer in march. It has spread to a couple of lymfnodes. Hormone therapy and radiation. I was very tired after radiation but after a lot of time in the gym I’ve got my energy back. Sometimes a lot of worry. Woodys videos has been a great support for me.
@@kristofferforsberg9516 Similar story (see my comments) . I'm second generation Swede living in Canada. We are fortunate living in the west. Great treatments for us. He has a research centre in America, and covers many scenarios regarding prostate cancer. Nice to meet you!
Hi kristoffer I'm so pleased the videos have been a help to you , keeping fit is vital if you can although I'm not too good at it. Best wishes and merry Christmas 🎄❤️🙏
Hello everyone. I'm Henry in Australia on this 34degree day I'm also stage 4 diagnosed 18 months ago. The cancer wasn't detected until it had spread to my bones. I had a little back pain no other symptoms. Two days after the diagnosis my spine broke and now I live in a wheelchair. Hormone therapy is terrible but it saved my life . Merry Christmas everyone
Merry Christmas Woody ! Mike M. Here from the USA. I was diagnosed with pc on 01/03/24. I have stage 4, ( Gleason 7- 3+4 ) and ( Gleason 8- 4+4 )spread to a couple lymph nodes in the pelvic area. Treatment consisted of adt monthly injections of firmagon & Zytiga + prednisone. Eventually switched to Orgovyx with Zytiga. Had 5 weeks of radiation SBRT to prostate & pelvic area. I tolerated the radiation well but had a rough time with the ADT. After several months on the ADT i am on a break from it because i was feeling thoughts of suicide which i shared with my oncologist. I’ve been on a break from ADT for 3 months now & my psa is @ 0.4 and still has been dropping so i feel really grateful about that. My psa is being checked monthly & if all goes well, will go to once every 3 months. Really looking forward to this Christmas to spend with family & grandchildren 😊
Merry Christmas Woody. Kind cancer? Carl here. Stage 4, 12 years now. Lymph node matastesis a year ago, so here we go again with radiation, first and second generation hormone therapy. Looking good now. 6 months of pills and hormone injections. I never look at it as a cure. Just taking it one day at a time. The hormones therapy makes me tired and sad sometimes, but other days normal. I find walks in nature really helps. All the best for the holiday season Woody, and this was a good idea putting out info for the "new guys"
If you're having radiation make sure to get your vitamin d levels up,proven it works a lot better on people with higher levels, good luck my friend, the other thing that is said to work well against cancers is ivermectin, plenty of info on line.
@@gulshani8331 My PSA has been rising for 12 years after having radical prostetectomy, radiation, and hormone therapy. My PSA jumped from 5 to 10 a year and a half ago. Had the scans, and found lymph node metastis. Have had radiation, and first and second hormone therapy. My PSA is 0 now, and lymph nodes have shrunk.
@carleedquist4039 Merry Christmas, you are one of the guys I was talking about on the latest video, 12 years in and still going strong this gives so much hope for others including me and the new guys, it just makes it seem that anything is possible. Keep going strong 🙏❤️
My father died about 3 years ago of prostate cancer. He was complaining of pain but was ignored as it was during corona. Since then I’ve had a PSA test every time I get a blood test. Luckily so far my PSA has always been 0.3.
I cured mine 3 years ago by going hard keto. I didn't want to go through the usual treatment but amazingly within 6 months I was cured and I'm permanently off carbs now. Carbs and sugar feed the cancer and mine couldn't live with the huge level of ketones I was producing. PLEASE try it!!!
I was thinking about this. What was your Gleason score, and other details so we know where you started. Was it very mild, say a 2, and it was easy to cure?
All the best mate ,, I have been through it all this year ,, btw with ZERO SYMPTOMS ,, was a bit luckier caught earlier on ,, BUT what really winds me up is when I explain to so many men to just go get a blood PSA done which takes 2 mins ,, they say what’s that ,, and oh I don’t need to go as I have no symptoms ,, whilst the silent killer gets to work inside them with their heads in the sand SO FRUSTRATING !
@retiredpainter259 I agree, it's lack of knowledge that is killing men Why is this cancer not advertised like other cancers Most men when I speak to them have no idea about or the symptoms I've stopped a few men from getting it bad by catching it early The more we spread the message the more we save There is also issue with GPs who won't do PSA tests I had all the symptoms yet never got offered a simple blood test, I suspect in my case it was already too late but I'll never know. Take care and wishing you the very best of luck on your own journey. 🙏❤️🎄
Merry Christmas,I’ve had prostate cancer 6 years, couldn’t remove it all, radiation and hormone treatments,in the beginning the doctor gave me 2 years, still going strong.
Hi Woody, phil; here, stage 4 Gleason 9 be 3 years at Easter, like you uneducated and devastated when diagnosed, I came out of hospital meeting at Easter thinking I would be dead by Christmas, Doctors did - said nothing to make me think any other way, it was finding other survivors diagnosed years before me that gave me hope. If the doctors can not or wont give hope for whatever reason why cant they give newly diagnosed devastated blokes fact sheets with you tube channel names like yours and a few others I could mention to take home, sit watch , start getting educated
@n.c.b.8832 Hi Phil I agree totally my own oncologist said straight away you will never be cured I said back as anyone ever survived this she said yes but not many , I said well if one person has done it why can't I and that's how I mean to go on believing, as should everyone else . Take care Phil 🙏❤️🌲
Bless you for your courage and permitting others to follow your journey with such candor. Consider Sodium Butyrate and Inositol to support the effectiveness of radiation.
