Big difference in tone / eq between sound from side camera and top camera. Top is much brighter. Side sounds excellent. Top seems to be missing some low end. Fantastic playing. Just got my yc73 and starting to love after much adjustment. I’m a guitar player and Kb wantabee…😅

Hey man, great video. My only criticism, as someone who edits a lot of audiobooks and different narrators, you produce quite a bit of “mouth noise”, and that can be pretty distracting. Just an fyi. Something to be aware of. You can always edit it out in post or work on mouth technique when recording voice.

I can't afford Moog, or many other big name mfg's , as much as I'd like them. Behringer is a god send for people like me, yes they make clones, they also make original stuff, but if it offends you.. leave it, for the rest of us, glad they are around.

I definitely noticed the cheaper build quality of the behringer. Some of the pots are starting to give that scratchy sound

I owe my love for synths to behringer and arturia. If it weren't for them ant their low cost entry level hardwareI wouldn't have been able to afford getting started with hardware synths. Fast several years and I now own a Summit, rev 2, matrixbrute and sub37, but guess what. 2 out of my last 3 synth purchases have been Behringers. Just because you love high end hardware doesn't mean you cant appreciate affordable options as well. Dont be a snob.

I am sure there are lots of great Moog models. I had a little phatty, my first Moog and probably the worst sounding synth I have ever played. I was so excited to finally get a Moog and my expectations were high, I was so disappointed. The Phatty would literally drift in and out of tune with several keys. It sounded like digital distortion. The korg monologue was just as big of a disappointment. I got a Take5 and I have to say, this thing is awesome!

I hate when an analog synthesizer has digital effects on the patches. Almost better than this I would buy a Waldorf Quantum or Iridium.

Behringer is brigher BUT if you use the Eurorack outs on Matriarch it is just as bright. For whatever reason, master outs of Matriarch are darker than its Eurorack outs.

The Behringer Model D is wonderful. I've owned many Moogs and they have to be given credit, but the sound quality of the Behringer Model D is amazing and a small miracle given the price point. Don't let these gear snobs tell you otherwise. :)

I have been through the same experience. I think the ubxa is a true synthesizer masterpiece. The oscillators sound amazing (check those A9 French horns). The additional harmonics from the filter are so rich, it feels like a natural reverb. I think it took 24 hours to acclimatise from cold to the warm environment... because day 2 was a revelation. So much rich character in the sound !

Not sure why the Gen Z do that, I'm a Gen X and I APPRECIATE the Boomer generation. We would not have all the cool 80s toys, awesome synths, AWESOME 80s music, amazing TV shows without the b.s. woke garbage we have today. Those were REAL MEN and WOMEN that were creative. My parents are boomers and, yes, they had it made and I had a great childhood because of it.

I can´t honestly understand this anti-Behringer rant. The Minimoog was one of the most influential synths ever and is still a highly desirable synth. Good luck in finding a classic unit, and the new reissue is obscenely expensive. With a good controller and the Behringer model D you get acces to the same sound and expressive resources. To have access to clones of so many classic synths for such low price is nothing short of a miracle. In my opinion Behringer is the best thing that has happened to music technology since Steinberg decided to make the VST protocol public domain.
