I’m happy for you to have the stamina to pick up and move. I’d do it too, but I’m too old to move and start over again. Folks…move while you have energy, strength and mental stability to move your entire live somewhere else. I can’t, just can’t. My family is old, I’m old, and worse yet, I’m in better shape than anyone in my family and I’m 71…..

Yep…the only way to hang on your sanity. I got neighbors like that, but only in summertime. Blast music bc they think we all enjoy hearing it. Police have been called, many times. This year, they got a ticket I think. I was glad! It stopped, but then they slowly turn up the volume…..and it starts all over again

I have no doubt those old neighbors were hell to live with....but how loud is that drone you sent up in your new neighborhood. I find drones incredibly annoying and an invasion of privacy. You new neighbors might not appreciate it.

Congrats on the move to peacefulness. Human's are pack rats, we take all our crap with us everywhere. My best lesson in life, we don't own anything and after a while the stuff we have starts to own us. I focus on a few things I truly enjoy and if I haven't used it in 3 years it's probably time to lose it.

Your new home and entire property are very nice and I'm sure you're going to enjoy living there. + It's a blessing that you have so many talents and resources. And homesteading is a very good idea for anyone who can do this; especially in these times. {But we can all keep trusting God no matter what circumstances we are living in in this troubled, fallen world.) There is no such thing as a ''mother nature'', God is our Creator. Clearly this once perfect world is marred by sin, and we're just passing through here. But God will bring us in to eternal life with Him if we choose to put our trust in His mercy, made possible because Jesus paid for our sins on the cross for us. The most important thing for all of us is to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior for the forgiveness of our sins and the salvation of our soul. Details are in God's word the 66 books of the Holy Bible. I read one time that if you have a room mate that you want rid of, that you become obnoxious: Leave dirty water in the tub after a bath, never flush the toilet (especially after a "movement"), never do the dishes, leave your stuff all over the place and generally, be the room mate that nobody wants. Looks like your neighbor read that same article. Karaoke, barking little dog and drum set would have done me in too. These people have really done their homeworkSorry that you had to move but you're better off now.

Why nicer place. I have people and a town that took over 150 feet of my property cause they want my house. I guess i will take the house when i move too.

I have been lucky I have had great neighbors all these years and moved 5 times over the years .i hear stories of my family and friends about terrible experiences with their psycho neighbors

I stumbled on your video, so sad to hear all this. It’s common everywhere now. NO MORE QUALITY LIFE, NO MORE PIES, OR JUST CUTTING YOUR NEIGHBORS GRASS AS MY DAD STILL DOES. My parents mind their own business and they just keep good manners , kindness and love for their neighbors. I live the same way too. When my neighbors are sick, I spoil them, I wait for any occasion to do an ack of kindness for our neighbors. Same here. Retired military. We’ve been stationed all over the world, and have resided both on base and off base. We’ve had our share of butthead neighbors, but here-young couples with kids assume it’s their world, and we’re all just along for the ride. This was a decent neighborhood until three families moved in with kids that have zero parental control/guidance. One couple heavily drinks for the weekend. The other two are in everyone’s’ business-think mean girls from high school, only now, they’re the Desperate Housewives. Their kids are all elementary school age and it’s like watching something out of Lord of The Flies. They begin howling, screaming, carrying on at 8am while waiting for mothers to come out and drive them to school-and it resumes when they come home in the afternoon. Zero regard for everyone’s property. The level of destruction they have wreaked on gardens, lawns, cars…and one of the kids’ dad is a cop, so we’re super screwed as far as being able to do anything…

Hope the buyers are aware of the dog and other noise.

Wish i could do this. I'm a millennial who was broke when rates and prices were great. Now, i can't afford anything even tho i finally got funds. Hate isn't a strong enough word for what those greedy a-holes have stolen from an entire generation. I worry I'll never own a home. 😢

I escaped the small town life, and ended up with about 400 acres in the mountains. I grew up there on my grandparent's properties. My nearest neighbor is my aunt, who lives 1/2 mile up the road. There are 6 miles of National Forest lands on the other side. Listening to the creeks run at night is so peaceful. If I want to get away from home, I just go up on the mountain about a mile away, and stay there for a while. Plenty of streams, wildlife, firewood, and peace of mind.

I would've moved away but kept the house. Then turn it into a bitcoin mining hub and laugh all the way to the bank when the neighbors are suffering from chronic migraines, sleepless nights, etc from the noise 24 hours a day. Remember, barking dogs will die, noisy kids will grow up and move away, loud neighbors will grow old and silent, but that crypto hub will run FOREVER if there's power lol🤣

Fellow British Columbian here, directly south east of you. We left downtown Vancouver in 2020 for 1/2 an acre in the Creston valley. I feel gratitude every single day for making the move here. We are very familiar with your area and are so happy for you that you've found your mini estate of peace and quiet. Enjoy!!

Your city should have noise ordinances. Dallas does & they include barking dogs.

I got sick of noisy neighbors a few years ago and so I moved. Now my nearest full-time neighbor is over a mile away!

Left the city for very same reason

Surroumded by bad neighbors is horrible. We have a dr. who lets his dog bark hours a day. Not too bright. It goes on and on and on with many. Self absorbed.
