So it's the noise that's making you move. That's not that bad a problem.
No, not just the noise. But I didn’t want to ramble on for 15 minutes about all BS there. It was time to go.
Great build!
Right on, thanks.
I recently got some really low class neighbors who have two dogs that are kept outside throughout the entire year. We get brutal winters, so all I hear is whining and barking. I can't begin to explain how much I hate them.
Thanks for the video. Really appreciate it. I have a 20 year old Craftman two-stage snow blower that works fine, but im doing research for if/when I have to replace it. I tend to do my neighbors sidewalks and garbage cans, so I'm out there for a couple of hours at least. Luckily I already have Ryobi equipment so I'll have a couple of sets of extra 40v batteries to get the job done. I'm in Chicago and some winters, we get A lot of snow, so definitely looking for a two-stage. Hopefully when I'm in the market, Ryobi will have made significant improvements.
Your inverter is dangerously oversized for your battery bank. The reason professionals and experienced people shy away from an all in one is the fact if one component goes out...your screwed and you have to replace the whole thing instead of quickly switching out one thing. You're learning....people who are unaware and lack knowledge make mistakes. Your next model will be better. Awesome sound quality on the video.
You're hilarious.
Arent there regulations regarding excessive noise by a neighbor?
For similar reasons, I purchased 20 acres further north in the country. It's nowhere near a city. 1/2 acre would not be enough space.
Went to visit family in Washington for Thanksgiving. We spent most of it at Jim Creek MWR. There is no cell signal and only a small wifi hotspot around the front office. A week of quiet and no distractions recharged the batteries to 110%. To be able to do that Monday through Sunday would be heaven.
Sounds awesome
Very nice place, your new home 🏡
Thanks.
Funny how this video popped up. Been debating about leaving my 4 acre property for the past few years. Small changes in this former country quiet town have turned into major ones. A few neighbors changed and not for the better. Gun shots, dogs, atvs, loud vehicles, etc. Then the loggers destroyed over 200 acres of property around me earlier this year. I love the house but hate the human environment. Going to take the plunge myself and move. Sadly development like that will be everywhere in the future. Nature is dissapearing. So only thing I can do is move to a spot that gives me a little bit more time to enjoy it while it lasts. Congrats on the move.
RESPECT-you have done what I would have done. Leaving misery behind
I moved away from crappy neighbors in a wonderful neighborhood unfortunately but wow it’s so much better 😅
Come to Wisconsin!
14” is a lot. Was it wet snow?
I wouldn’t say so. It was pretty cold out.
The neighbors on my block are very self centered. They double park and block the street. They make noise at all times of the day and night. They never acknowledge you when you say hi to them. They act like they are better than you. They park several of their vehicles which do not run in all the spaces. They only care about themselves which is horrible. All of the other neighbors on the block are friendly and tend to help each other out.
I hear ya. Thanks for sharing.
I love it!!! I will say you Mr. Viseur my woodshop teacher would lose his mind if he saw you not using a push stick and not supporting your wood as it cuts. Lol.
Bwhahahaha.
"And the property also has a house " has single man written all over it
Oh hell ya, I didn’t buy this place for the house.
Beautiful place. It reminds me of Washington.
Washington is probably 5 hours due south of me.
baddass
Right on, thanks. 🤘🏻
great work bro! hope your making the best work ever!
👍🏼
Definitely don't want to live by hoodrats or dope heads or alcoholics
Good on ya mate for making the move to better your own life, looks like an awesome place ............as for your last neighbours you just cant help STUPID......all the best
Thank you so much. 😊
Looks like a bunch of unnecessary nonsense
It’s an honour to get such an expert opinion from someone who knows exactly what I need. What do you think of the wheel oh wise one?
Good for you brother!
Thanks 👍🏼
People suck bro.nothing worse than bad neighbors! My friend just sold his house do to a bunch of Mexicans moving in across the street that make noise constantly and drive loud vehicles. Good luck with the new property!
Neighbors should be 1. Close friends 2. Friendly 3. or two ships passing in the night
Yes
Seems like it turned out to b a blessing. Love the spot, enjoy!
Thank you.
It would be cool if you could make one today with links that are still available for sale.
Thanks for the rude heads up. I didn't realize that the thing was unavailable. They might of discontinued it, I'll have to look into it.
How’s the AIO holding up in box without the spec’d ventilation space? Not a criticism as I have my AIO hanging off the roller box handle on hooks but want to put it in a box like yours with a breaker box so I can have more than 1 circuit. I use mine 24/7 though, is that how you use yours?
Not sure what you're talking about. I don't have an AIO in this build. This past summer I was living in a camper trailer for about a month and used it every night for lights, computer, toaster oven and coffee machine every morning and did not have one problem with overheating. The fans would go hard but it never overheated. On a couple of really stupid hot nights I would open the lid to take the pressure off the fans but for the most part everything was rock solid. I think the highest temperature I saw in the box was 38c. Not even close to dangerously hot.
@@i.b.lanceryour DIY Solar is an all in one solar charge controller, inverter and ac charger, same as my PowMr AIO. Sounds like it’ll be fine. Thanks for the reply
I didn't know that AIO stood for all in one. lol.
Yes the best neighbors r the ones u can't hear or never see. I had a similar situation, sh**y neighbors, they were complete a**holes. I lived there before these a holes moved in They were annoying, constantly bother my wife and I. Always had to say hi or talk too us. We ended up selling and moving to a more rural area. We now have more land and space. No neighbors at all. Best move we ever made. We aren't anti social but I do not need to be around ppl 7 days a week. We prefer not to be around anyone else or have neighbors, not necessary. We would rather have the peace and quiet and not have to worry about a holes.
Wishing you All the Best, from Brooklyn, New York! Glad you've found a new, wonderful home. Question - What are you telling the folks (potential buyers and real estate agents) is the reason that you are selling?
Retirement. That’s all they need to know.
@i.b.lancer Perfect.
Nice 👍 clean 👏👏
Thanks. I used it a ton this summer and it worked awesome too. 👍🏼
Where are you headed?
Middle of BC, Canada.
Nice piece of paradise, you deserve it!
Thanks!
I would love to see this soldering iron but just not made into the battery if you watt meter said 45 watts most should technically work with the top off
Translation anyone?
karaoke, calling it right now, probably Pilipinos?
So cool. How does one even begin to try to figure this stuff out? Seems like magic. I’m dumbfounded.
That’s exactly what it is, it’s magic.
Love the new place. I could live in an rv as long as im in an area like that. This is my new life goal. Find a place like that away from cities.
As with electric vehicles, the battery technology is simply not where it needs to be for many (most?) users. You have a fairly small driveway, and the two batteries barely finished the job. When the wet spring snows come, I do not think you will be able to clear 14" from your driveway. Spare batteries for this Ryobi machine are $259 each, and an extra charger is $89. Thus, to get two spare batteries and a charger, you will easily spend more than $600. This brings the total cost to about $2,000, which is a lot of money for a small (22") machine. My gas blower finally died after 23 years, and I was really hoping to replace it with electric. For me, the main appeal is the quietness. Unfortunately, the available electric machines cannot handle my needs in the mountains, so I will buy another gas machine.
Their 24” is a pretty nice machine. Have you looked into that one?
@@i.b.lancer Still doesn't have the battery life to handle my needs. Also, batteries deteriorate over time, so all the reviews of new machines will only get worse over time.
Its eaier when you have multiple 40V Ryobi iteams, I have like 8 batteries and multiple chargers so it works well then
Ya, I bought two more batteries last month. We’ll see how 4 does and possibly get more next year.
You certainly live in a beautiful spot.
Thank you.
Right. Are you sure u can't just close up. Store up. Keep it just relocate. I was forced out of my Ranch I'm not selling. I took little bit and took important paperwork. Moved to my mom's house.
I sold that place in August and moved up north. The new place isn't perfect but it's paid for and in a beautiful part of the country. And the best part, the neighbours are far apart and quiet.
New subscriber here. Your “moving video” popped up in my feed and I watched it and can relate to the annoying karaoke!! I don’t mind dogs barking because I have two little ones myself, but we keep them under control. I’m from British Columbia, lived here all my life, and I’m at the age where I want to start spending more time on life than work. As much as I enjoy my career, my wife and I are now looking to get out of the Fraser Valley and move somewhere either to the West Kootenay’s or up near your neck of the woods. All those little towns strung along the Yellowhead Highway (Hwy 5) have charm and potential for affordable acreage. I’m looking forward to watching your other videos and new ones that you will be producing. Thanks so much!
Hey you're welcome. Born and raised in the lower mainland myself. I looked around the west kootenays as well but ultimately settled in Clearwater, almost solely because of the shops on this property. If you're going to look up the Yellowhead keep in mind that the railroad runs up and down this valley. They don't really bother me that much but I can still hear them. If you want to come this way, I would really look along Hwy 24 between Little Fort and 100 mile. No trains, no logging trucks and lots of lakes. It's very peaceful over there. Thanks for watching.
@ Thanks for your reply. I was born in North Van in 63. Been in BC my entire life but lived in various regions throughout my years. Spent most of my time in Abbotsford where I reside currently. I recognize your previous location in Aldergrove. Not too far from where I am now. I don’t mind the railroads as I spent much of my youth in Kamloops living a block away from the CN mainline in Brockelhurst. Trains and railroads are part of my DNA.
Which state did you move too
I’m in BC. It’s on the west side of Canada.
Most people in general just have zero self respect in turn do not respect others. Iam surrounded by horrible neighbours except the ones on one side of me . And it’s a living hell in the summer with kids screaming chain saws going , reckless reving of engines tires screeching ,and constant drug transactions from immigrants . When I bought 20 years ago it was quiet and peaceful. Now the neighbours have made it a living nightmare ! I dream of the day I can leave the city and go live with nature ❤️
Have ever thought about throwing most of your stuff away?
Have you ever thought about flushing 10's of thousands of dollars down the toilet?
always interesting with a entertaining delivery. your house was built the same year i was born. i'm from the bronx and when people comment on my ny accent, my response is the same.
I have one...its junk. So light in deep wet snow the tires just spin.
looking at turning my basement into a printing shop as a hobby myself, appreciate you documenting all this, it will be very helpful!
I suck at using my hands. Bought a money pit of house that is freaking beautiful and the right person would love it, but I’m about to leave soon. I found out the roof hasn’t been done in 25 years but I’m up to my ears in loans. Thinking about not doing it before I sell it. I’m glad you found what makes you happy. Looks like you worked really hard for it. Good luck on your journey!
Thanks, good luck on yours.
