Install Dirt Bike Graphics & Number Plates Perfect Every Time! Easiest Method - How To | Tutorial
Today we are going to install some number plates on my 1986 Honda CR500! This method works great for all graphics and number plates for dirt bikes and ATVS! All you need is Windex, rubbing alcohol, microfiber clothe and some gloves. This is the only way I install graphics on my bikes. Zero frustration!

Painting & Restoring Motorcycle Engine Cases Using VHT & Duplicolor - Works With ANY Bike! Easy!

I finally got my CR500 cases fixed! This has been about a year long process and I learned in the end if you need an engine repaired outside of your own skillset, get in contact with Adam Millar! I was going to use cerakote for this project, but I have been wanting to try this engine paint for quite awhile! I used a combination of VHT and Duplicolor engine paint to get these cases looking factor...
ICW Dirt Bike Radiator Bracing - Incredibly Strong Radiator Repair After Wrecking My Honda CR250!
Просмотров 192Месяц назад
ICW Radiators, Brett Koufas - icwradiators.com I hit a 'surprise double' at my local ORV park that left one of my radiators twisted and smashed. The top of a hill lead to a Wiley Coyote style drop off and all I could do was brace for impact! After getting my bike home, I straightened up the radiator, but it was clearly still very tweaked so I decided to give ICW a try. Brett, owner at ICW Radia...
Found A Crusty 1993 Honda CR500 At A Yard Sale For $1200! Hasn't Run In 10 Years! Will It Fire Up?!

This past weekend, I picked up a worn out 1993 Honda CR500 at a yard sale for $1200! The seller said that this bike hasn't run in over 10 years and I believe her! This CR500 came with a title and spent the majority of its life in Pasadena, California. Her son was the one who rode this bike the most and moved away many years ago. She did mention that he still rides, but prefers a Harley nowadays...

Its a 500. Ride it before you waste your money on performance parts. DUH With that front end its not worth more that 1,800$.
Clean ass 500!!!!
Great instruction....I've heard of some people using soapy water, would that work as a substitute for the Windex?
@@ehess8845 absolutely! I meant to add that into the video, but it slipped through the cracks somehow! Thanks bro!
I’ve watch a mate whose been tinting cars for more than 30 years use a spray bottle with water and Johnson’s baby shampoo mix. Then a heat gun at the right temp. Works well
You can sure be proud of that bike ! What a beautiful 500!
Thanks bro! I’m trying to get it fired and I’ll release the final video on that bike! It’s really cold here and I’m having a fuel delivery issue now. Fires if I put premix down the spark plug hole. Took a lot of hours to get it where it is now in the midst of my daughter being born!
@ Congratulations on your baby girl enjoy every minute they grow up fast!

Good job brother.
@@cainbeeping8480 thank you very much!
I am going to try that w my retro oem style 96 Kx kit, on my other Kx I used a blow dryer but think I heated it up too much & caused a airbubble on the clear top, the other side I just put the decals in a sink full of hot water, & did the cut a straight line off the center most vertical spot that attached the small middle part & it is only like a 1/4" slit so you can remove it if not placed correctly, then once nice & perfectly placed I removed one side of the backing & started in the middle going up & down while working towards the edge keeping the side of decal off the plastic while applying to keep wrinkles & air bubbles from forming, but your method looks alot better, I was just nervous the windex would cause decal not to adhere, but looks like I was worried for nothing lol, great job & awesome Cr500, is that the short stroke Cr500 or was the 1985 Model??
@@benjaminemerald8027 thanks bro! It’s an 1986, but they’re pretty close to identical! Sorry you had trouble, hopefully you can stick a pin in the bubbles and maybe use that blow dryer to smooth it out. I was also pretty skeptical it would get messed up, but I had a friend show me this and it blew my mind. Perfect graphics everytime now! I’ll put a video on restoring this cr500 up when it decides it wants to fire up lol
I'm using that method next time I change my graphics. I appreciate you going into detail about this application.
youve got that bike better than new by the looks of it
@@johngray722 thank you!! It’s getting there! I’ve got it just about dialed 9 months later!
Nice
It looked like the one wire that was unplugged was the ignition wire. If it came unplugged while riding , the bike would have died. One of the first things to try once you realize you lost spark is to disconnect the kill switch I've had a few bad kill switches kill my spark on my bike. I would imagine they just said forget it after that and left it sit.
Damn, that's beautiful!

This year I just bought a new 650L and lovin it. Adam Millar is a genius. I have had compression release installed on my 500 head by him. The guy is so nice and humble, was in contact all the time with the updates, shared a few tips and tricks. Its amazing how he replies to each and everyone's query. Regarding the paint process, I have tried this before on my cr500 engine cases. and it didnt last a month.it will flake off as soon as you hit it with pressure wash.specially where it comes in contact with oil and gas. I then powder coated them with satin black, it was way more durable and resistant to oils and gas. how is the 93cr500 coming along?
@@Samar_MotoBuilds ahh, did you bake it too? I well good to know.. I was told the engine paint was fuel and oil resistant. My uncle used this on a small block in a 57 Chevy and he had no issues? Well if it doesn’t stick, I’ll make a cerakote video I guess 😅 Adam is one of my favorite guys in the moto community. Genuinely nice guy. Wish I had him do my decomp head, had a guy in Illinois do it. Might sell mine and have Adam do one for me to cut the squish band as well. 1993 CR500 now belongs to my next door neighbor, he made me an offer I couldn’t refuse! However, he said I can make videos on it so we’ll see! I’m finishing up an 86 cr500 in the next few weeks and will hopefully have the video up before the end of the year! After a campaigning a YZ490 for years I bought an ex Honda Australia CR500 race bike in '87, omg, that thing was mad, carbon reeds, ported barrel, killer suspension( I think it was white power) no one could catch me. Had to hang onto the bugger though, It would try to buck me off at every twist of the throttle! I would love to have one now but at 60 years of age I think my big bore 2 stroke days are over lol. Always hated that short kick starter. Look after the old girl, they're going up in value , haven't seen one under $10,000 here in Australia for years.
@@timfletcher9907 I will do that sir! I haven’t even ridden her yet, I’ve got the rest of the parts coming from the UK right now actually. Hoping to take it for a rip before it snows in the northwest! Wish we got those CRE500s that you guys got…
I also use a pwk 35 air striker that is a copy. But mine is a copy 90% like the original. China imitates it very well. The logo, and the part number are the same as the original so it's hard to tell the difference. I've bought more than 10 pcs and installed them on my customer's two stroke 125cc bike. The result is very good and it is easy to set! the price is also very cheap which is rm90 (Malaysia) which is 22.5 dollars. very worth it with its very good quality in terms of finishing and setting.
