    Get a cheap sandblast cabinet and use #12 glass bead. It's almost as good as vapor blasting.

      Haha so funny you say that! I have a friend with one of those, I have used it on small parts like linkage and what not, but never cases. A friend of mine said I shouldn't glass bead blast it and the finish wouldn't be as good. But, I gotta work with what I've got :) I will go give it a try and see how it goes and report back.       ​@jimmy_dirtbike I've used a a light grit to clean oxidized cased and the used walnut media to polish the metal

    You do NOT want to use aluminum brightner or ANY acidic cleaner on stainless steel!.
