Sketch with 3D with ComyUI
The generation of 3D models with AI holds great potential for form finding and designing 3D assets. Particularly the ability being able to quickly sketch an idea and get a 3D representation within an environment can be a very useful workflow especially as this technology becomes more accurate.
For this tutorial I will be using TripoSR by stability AI for Fast 3D Object Reconstruction from a Single Image . Only three nodes are actually needed for this workflow and has similar results to much more complicated workflows or even paid services.

    I can't make the polygon clip, for some reason I can draw the area, I can also make CesiumPolygonRasterOverlay but it doesn't make the cut

      in the details panel for the cesiumpolygonrasteroverlay for the Google photorealistic tiles try checking "invert selection" and deselect "exclude selected tiles". Also make sure the polygon is added to the polygons array.

    Hi, I'm getting the error "Error occurred when executing IPAdapterUnifiedLoader." I've followed all the instructions and read through the comments, but I'm still unable to resolve the issue. I would appreciate your help. Thank you!

      The nodes regularly get updated and sometimes causes the nodes to break unfortunately. Could be a few possible fixes. You could try Update All in the manager, and re- download all the IP Adapter files making sure they have correct names and locations. Make sure to have a folder named "ipadapter" inside the "model" folder.

    Theres no point cause it wont look good at street level...and there are obvious disadvantages to using real cities...and to be honest a lot of devs dont want real cities in their fictions...

      Depends on what you use Unreal for. For architecture and Digital Twins you want real environments and if you only need aerial views of simplified forms for urban analysis it maybe enough. For more detail closeups, yes you would need aerial drone scans for street details but that is another cost/ service.

      @@Urban_Decoders pretty much...good for a flyby in a flight sim....not...much else...don't overlook.that most Devs are telling stories about their own world or universe...and there's other reasons to have a unique city...fight areas...boss areas...etc etc..

      yes, same workflow just would recommend using a different control net (maybe depth) for voumes if you don't need details from your input image.

    Is there any way to export a portion of the city as a mesh and work offline? I'm asking cause I saw many people selling tiles of cities in FBX format on different 3D markets, so I guess it is possible.....but how? Thanks for the videos!

      It may be to do that you are mixing SD1.5 models, controlnets, ipa adapters and checkpoints with SDXL ones. Could try double checking that all the models loaded are for the SD 1.5.

    I’m having trouble with the Line Art Preproccessor, an error message shows saying it cannot find such file or directory. I’ve already uninstalled and installed again. Do you have any idea on how to fix it?

      You will need to download the sd1.5 line art preprocessor and paste in into comfyui/models/controlnet or you can go the the manager, custom nodes search control nets and select control net preprocessors. It will download it into your directory.

      Try updating the ipadapter plus node and also try installing the "comfyUI essentials" custom node too from the manager. In the manager you can also go to install models and install CLIPVIsion models for the ipadapters there.

    How can I export from unreal engine to revit?

      Since Unreal engine is a games engine normally you only export geometry to unreal engine for rendering and not the other way around. You wouldn't use unreal engine to do any detailed modelling.

      From the list at the moment Maket and architectures both have free trial. Planfinder (grasshopper plugin for plan generations) is also interesting and has one month free trial.

    When I add the post-processing volume, it hides the Gaussian splat. I have already checked the 'extent infinite' option. Is there something that I'm missing here? Thanks!

      Maybe either lighting values too strong or the Gaussian splat needs to be rotated to be viewed properly. check all the exposure values in the post-processing are not too high if using manual override.

      check the fog height/ densities parameters to see if they are too strong (or turn it off to see if changes anything). Then for volumetric clouds try adjusting other parameters such the layer height.

      You can package with cesium but you will always need an internet connection in order to stream the tiles as they cannot be downloaded or cached.

    is there a way to make the dynamic section a 2d drawing? like you can make it into linework??

      when you select "create drawings" from under drafting and sections in the menu, the line work are all placed into layers so you can change colours etc. there. You can also export these to illustrator and then do your artwork using the same layers.

    The creativity level is set by CFG, while denoise will determine how much of the original image can be redrawn. Using the Advanced ControlNet instead of the regular one seems pointless unless you are fine-tunning the advanced node's values. I didn't quite get the purpose of the Scribble Lines node, is it just to resize the source image? I believe that's done automatically depending on the output size anyway.

      the advanced control net gives additional settings to adjust the control net, particularly on the strength of the effect. here is some good documentation on it: github.com/Kosinkadink/ComfyUI-Advanced-ControlNet. The scribble lines nodes and preview is there for you to see what the effect of each control net is. You can compare the various styles before running through the k-sampler. But you can omit this node and preview if you want.
