  • There are many great open source AI tools out there to help you with your design workflows but quite often the install process is a bit tedious having to dig through githubs and install the correct libraries, and tools. there is now a great solution for this available. You can use a single platform to run these open AI tools locally on your computer using the app Pinokio.
It allows for one click installs for popular AI tools such as stable diffusion Automatic1111 for image generation or variations such as comfy UI with its updated node based UI. You can explore plenty of other Ais such as large language models running locally on your computer.

Thank you so much for this video, it is very helpful! I downloaded Pinokio and am trying to install Stable Diffusion and it gives me this message: "(6/7) Installing registry. Look for a dialog requesting admin permission and approve it to proceed. This will allow long paths on your machine, which is required for installing certain python packages." However I don't see any dialog requesting for admin permission. Do you know how to solve this?

Windows doesn't usually like very long file paths. Easy fix may be to install to a shorter file path location or if your folder names or username is very long, rename to something shorter. Also if you right click the Pinokio app you could run as administrator from there and might work. Otherwise there are other methods to make windows 10 accept file paths over 260 characters but gets a bit more complicated.
