Great Video, easy to follow and really down to earth (no pun intended). Thanks so much

How do you solve the problem of loading Google map tiles in Cesium during loading into the sequencer, as well as during rendering? There's a feature in the Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles section, in the Debug tab:
Suspend Update, it stops loading tiles, freezes, but is very limited in terms of map coverage

you could try adjusting the "simultaneous tile loads" so that more load at the same time. You will find this under the tile loading section in the google photorealistic 3d tiles.

Is there any way to export a portion of the city as a mesh and work offline? I'm asking cause I saw many people selling tiles of cities in FBX format on different 3D markets, so I guess it is possible.....but how? Thanks for the videos!

yes you can now download Offline Clips of 3D Tiles with cesiumion. You can read about it here: cesium.com/blog/2024/05/08/cesium-ion-clipping/

When I move around the scene, I see several tiles that disappear and appear alternately, as if the level does not load to 100%. Do you know how I can improve this? Tysm

There are a few settings that can be adjusted within the Google Tiles details panel to control the tile loading. First you could try increasing the "maximum simultaneous tile loads". This will allow more tiles to load at once. Increasing the "Maximum Screen Space Error" to something like 20, will decrease quality but increase performance. Another useful setting is to disable Frustum Culling so that out-of-view tiles will still try to load at the desired level of detail.
