I have loads of Tapo Bulbs that I want to get off my mesh system, do you know if the H100 hub will manage all of my smart bulbs and then I can just connect to the hub. TP link marketing doesn’t really say if the hub will manage connection on the bulbs. Do you know if this is possible?

Wish I watched this before getting one, it doesn't say anything about a subscription on the box. What a scam. Stuck with using one now. Just for the main door anywho. Just hope no one breaks in I guess. Everyone has their phone on them as well. So that isn't a big deal.

It’s funny but all I really wanted initially was a doorbell so that I can know when someone is at my door. My apartment doesn’t have a doorbell installed and if I’m in my bedroom, I can’t hear when someone is at the front door. So I am debating as to whether I want to pay for this subscription or not because keeping recorded data was never my intention. But just like drug dealers… They give you a sample and then you’re hooked 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

I have a router in my house. I have a garage in the back About 300 feet away. I'm trying. To put my wireless cameras in my garage. I was going to bury a ethernet line to the back garage. I did not want to buy another router for in the garage but I do have a ac mu-mimo 2600 tp link wi fi extender would the extender be okay to run my camera system or do I have to buy a second router? Dumped ring for Lorex video doorbell. So disgusted with another increase to $50 with very little service to show for. Alerts are always delayed and very little useful video capture. Lorex can be linked to a fussion DVR. No annual fees and 24/7 recording. Agent asked me why I’m canceling told them you have become so greedy. Told agent to check our Lorex product . LOL

just bought 3 ring items, doorbell, two cameras. i was told it's 3 per month;. just found out it's 4.99 per device. I'm sending them back immediately thats daylight robbery. i used neos for years before they closed and they allowed you to to pay £3 per month and have up to 4 devices for that.back I'm sending all 3 dev=ces back, got until jan 31st to do it.

Thanks for the explanation. When you talk about projects like Home Assitant, how would you make that work since something like a Raspberry Pi SBC wouldn't have the proper radio. I suppose you'd need some sort of bridge? Or maybe you're referring to the future?

Got a Eufy in black friday deals, and can sell the Ring bell to CEX to get some money back. Will work out cheaper in the long run

Guys, do yourselves a favour, skip this junk, get a LED Driver 24V 30W, 240V to 24V Transformer, cut out space for it in your existing bell housing and hook it up then you’re all set to install your doorbell.

Any product that requires an app to use is automatically denied access to my network. The same goes for any device that requires a subscription to function. Also, I will never use Eufy products again. Finally, I never even considered Ring, Alexa or any Amazon products.

Fast forward to today and it *appears* that TPLink in the UK have dropped Kasa for Tapo (for smart plugs at least). Amazon and Argos both appear to sell only Tapo smart plugs now.

Or we could just stop buying shit technology and demand better from these BILLION $ companies. Not having a go at you personally mate I'm just so frustrated with Ring atm.
