I only subscribed since your a philips hue fan. I'm halfway through converting all of my condo lights to hue. Getting the friends of hue ET2 iq led pendant light for master bed lounge area and would be great to pair this with a hue sensor. Thanx for the vid.

Thanks for the sub 🙂 Yep I really like Philips Hue, I think they offer pretty good value when you consider the ecosystem as a whole. The ET2 iQ pendant looks pretty nifty, I agree that'd be good to pair with a motion sensor

    I am subscribed my friend.
I'm having a little trouble at the moment?...a little i mean loads.
If you can solve & if you can you'd probably have to walk 🚶‍♀️ me through it. Virgin Med..Super hub 3 it has a built-in router I digress it is @hi# I'm sure you've heard about it before. I've just purchased a Reolink e1 outdoor 5mp the top e1. Vm shub3 is awesome at running 🏃‍♀️ 2 mobile phones and a tablet off the signal is amazing for all those devices lol...if you can tell me which router to buy & set it up and just use the VM SHUB3 as a modem so I can get this little security camera running 🏃‍♂️ I would be the happiest man in the uk 🇬🇧.
I mean a 2bed semi 2up 2down house isn't very big running what I've already said off the VM SUPER HUB 3.Thank You in advance if you can my friend. 🙄👌

Thanks David 🙂 Ugh sorry to hear of the issues you're having between the Virgin hub and Reolink camera. I hadn't previously heard about the issues.
Going forward, as you say, one option is to disable WiFi on your Virgin hub and use 'something else'. That 'something else' could be a 'whole home WiFi system', such as the BT Whole Home WiFi Discs. I actually use the BT Mini Discs and they work well enough.
You can then connect the Reolink camera to that, plus having multiple discs around your property should ensure a strong WiFi signal - inside and out. The first disc plugs into your Virgin Hub, and the rest can then go anywhere in your home.
The only downside I can think of is that if the Virgin Hub is blocking certain types of internet traffic, it might still block traffic flowing through these BT discs too. It's hard to know in advance.
I hadn't heard of this exact compatibility issue previously, but I hope this helps a bit. 🙂

Cheers for reply it's knot blocking anything it's just that bad the wifi signal from the built-in router of the very latest modem. Tell me more about the disks and I'll give them a go.
Or after disabling the router part of the modem if you know how to go about setting up a new router in the settings of the modem which all I know is you have to login too your VM HUB account and set the new router up that way on a pc but it's this part i don't know how to do. If you can help it would be great 👍

Ah okay, yes they'll help a bad WiFi signal. The discs themselves technically don't even require you to set the router to modem mode (it's recommended since it can reduce WiFi interference, but I skipped this step tbh).
Basically one of the BT discs plugs into your router, and you use a BT app (called BT Whole Home WiFi) to setup the first disc. Then you plug a new disc in somewhere else, e.g. neat your bad door. Then go back to the BT app and set up this second disc.
Repeat for any other discs you have. It works fairly well, and the back of the discs list a new WiFi network name and password that you can use for your Reolink cameras.
