Good spot. It does look like they've omitted this from the Doorbell Plus, you're right. It would seem an odd choice considering the 3 Plus and 4 have it, though.
The link you give seems to only apply to US and Canada - any idea if they are planning the same for the UK? (Would be unusual for us to have a benefit they don't!) Also states that existing owners will keep the feature without a subscription, so I guess that is a small comfort. I pay for the subscription anyway, but wonder if this will affect the ability to arm Ring alarm from Alexa, which I use to arm once I leave my Home Assistant geofence. It would be annoying if that went away, and is the main reason I'm slowly looking to build alternatives with HA for a future where features are dropped without warning,
Right now it's a bit vague in the UK. They haven't emailed me (or others I've asked), at least. However the UK also doesn't have the Ring Protect Pro option, so it does seem like we've diverged from North America right now. My guess is that Ring will bring in similar (annoying) changed here in the UK soon, but we'll see.
