Great analysis. 2 things I believe could be also said: The first, when Savika goes to Silko about Jinx. That "we" Silko mentions, I believe is not to distance himself from her, meaning, "don't believe for a second we run this together, I am in charge". I believe it's more about "you and who else?" but again, not to make her feel inferior or unable to oppose him. But meaning "How many people is talking about this? It's going to become a problem? Can I trust you or are you with this people, ready to betray me?". And I believe the way she looks downwards it's her, letting the guard down for a moment and becoming aware of her slip there. Like, she didn't want to rat about anyone being against Silko. The second, about comparing Jinx to a female Joker or even a Harley Queen... I see her more like a dark Batman. I can see the conversation between her and Silko, just after the 3rd episode. Powder telling Silko about Vi calling her a jinx (what hurt her, hoping he heals it). And Silko teaching her to get over it saying something along the lines of "become what you fear, so other people are afraid of you too". Like Batman did with the bats. Jinx worst trauma and fear (aside from the loss of everyone and being left alone) I believe it's that Mylo and Vi were right. That it's all her fault. That she really is a jinx, a curse for everyone around her. And that she will end up alone because of that. Either because people realice about this and leave her, or they die. And that's what she got over (with seriously cuestionable coping mechanisms) and that's why she is able to be alone in her "batcave" and also detached of everyone (but Silko). She grew self esteem by convincing herself that she must not care what others think of her. What it's not intrinsically bad but, taken to the extreme, as you saw and said, is becoming detached to humanity, outside and also inside yourself. Thank you for this analysis. My parents, especially my mom, are both mentally and physically abusive.. my dad was always chill but my mum got to him, and now he’s the same as my mum, and when he’s really angry, he’s worse. I have a maid at my house, but she’s really rude. All she wants to do is too get my mum mad at me, so I can get abused. Today I was just playing with my baby sister, and my maid started screaming as if I was stabbing my sister. My mum came running and the maid said I’d been trying to hurt my sister, and my mum dragged me into the room, locked the door and started hitting me with a belt. I tried to tell her that the maid was lying, but then she got more mad because I was “falsely accusing the maid” she told me that If I get the maid to leave by blaming her, then she would almost kill me every single day.

The beautiful thing about Arcane is that no one is completely good or bad (except maybe Ekko). Every character is in a morally grey area regarding how they felt and what they did. Vi was right to tell Powder to stay behind but didn’t explain why. She simply said Powder wasn’t ready, but the truth was she didn’t wanna put powder in danger. Vi had every right to be angry because they had a path to escape, and Powder blew it all up and got everyone else killed. But hitting Powder and calling her a Jinx was not the way to handle it. Powder always felt the need to prove herself and that she wasn’t a screwup. She also struggled with the death of their parents and feeling upset Vi left her behind. But at the same time, she needed to trust Vi, because even though she had good intentions, she was the reason everything went wrong.

Im so glad that i was taught about periods at the age of like 10 or 11 because right after i had been introduced and learned by it i actually got it-although they didnt tell us it can come in various of colours because mine came out brown but i didnt freak out i just observed atleast 15 minutes before calling my mom to ask- she looked a bit panicked for moment and explained about it- i think she thougt i had panicked about it but nope i was just fine just confused about the colour-

Season 2 is up! So please analyse it again. Jinx definitely has BPD. Her suicide attempts, disassociation, depressive episodes, psychotic episodes, emotional shut down/numbing and more! All added further into the confirmation that she does have BPD with CPTSD.
