just done 20 miles and 3000 feet of climbing today on my levo,,got back with half a battery and an excellent workout too,how much further do you really need to go ? . so i can easiy get 45 miles on my 700wh battery how much more than 4 hours before it stops being fun?,

Surely a write to a single data register is all that's needed, the register that stores the max assist speed.

Not a bad tutorial but you left out how you should always clean things up while you have the chance... This may sound like something everyone should know but I run into people that don't do it all the time. You could have mentioned it and done it off camera....

I see you removed the rear fender and the wired tailight. Did you cut the wire or was it plugged into the motor housing, requiring cover removal to access. I want to get rid of my fenders!!!!! Thanks!

Hi. Levo -19 and Levociraptor gen1. After maintenance firmware 0.6.6, hardware 3.1 and TCU 3.064 (36.B). Looks/geels like Levociraptor is no more compatible… Is it so? Do i need gen2/gen3 or is this now mission impossible?

Good day, I need assistance with my Trek Rail 7 as the chip keeps cutting out apparently due to the battery heating up when riding in full power mode. Despite not riding in red mode for months, the issue still occurred in purple mode over the weekend. Additionally, there is an orange ring around the unit when the bike is switched on, suggesting the chip may not be compatible with this model. I am unsure how many more times this issue will happen.

I won't modify my bike. It would be simply against the law in Canada. The speed restriction only affects my speed going down hill, and the all i have to do is stop pedaling for the motor not giving restriction, than i can speed-up a little. The real problem is that we are not informed by either Rocky Mountain or its dealers about that restriction before purchase. It is an important information since the bike gives less performance in high speed compared to a regular non-electric mountain bike...

I wish there was a dealer that sold these in the USA
