Great Video guys John flying the flag for us older blokes there looks to be some good quad muscle development I’m sure you can hit 60 before you turn 60 lol
I am curious if and what Frey is going to do with the Bafang M630 motor and the M630 automatic 5 speed gear hub?!?! 250Nm of torque!!!! Hopefully there will be a manually shifted gear hub too in the future!
need bigger chain ring, you are not putting power down pedaling like a mad man, i can hit the same speeds with a standard 48V over 58km , even 61km following trailing behing a car... i have 2.6 x 29 rims, i reckon with slightly thinner road tyres could hit 60 without touching pedals.
I just bought a Wired Freedom hub drive bike, 1/4 the price of this Frey, and its a 60v system, it actually goes a bit faster top end, feels strange going so fast on a bicycle!
hub motors are a little bit faster, firstly because the motor is bigger and it's gearless so less power is lost in friction, but they are not made for offroad, that weight on the back wheel is effecting your stopping power and accelaration power, and handling, that;s why its not as fast from the start... it needs to spin itself a heavy motor on the back wheel, other that that its a more efficient motor... it will get you more miles if you are limiting the power to say between 750watts and you cruise at 40-45km, where as the mid motor might need closer to 850 watts to maintain that speed, so its only goot up to about 40km and then you are eating through the battery to have a little bit more speed.
@@tomindia9420 no you're wrong. This 60 volt 2000 watt hub drive accelerates so instantly you need to hold on and keep the front wheel from going up. It also blows away any mountain bike I've owned, its a beast, its like a dual-sport motorcycle thats way lighter and quieter
Great! 60 is what I was expecting, and it's the same speed test I've seen on some reviews of m620. True to its name, it was a BEAST!👍
Love the beast, my best buy ever

you reckon it would go significantly faster if you put a 52T chainring?
Hi, love the content. What size front chainring do you have on the bike? Also what is the smallest cog on the cassette?
It looks so cool !

it will be more torque less speed since they changed the gearing and motor specs of the m630

Need a bigger chainring.

the problem is the rear wheel is 27.5 inch, add a 29er on th back and it will be much faster
Is it possible for this frame?
You can also put a bigger chain ring on it.
Test Optibike Everest R22
no way that bike is worth the money rip off!
Great video,LOVE THE BEAST
just use the throttle by itself lol
