I see you removed the rear fender and the wired tailight. Did you cut the wire or was it plugged into the motor housing, requiring cover removal to access. I want to get rid of my fenders!!!!! Thanks!
It depends on the type of riding, Often it remains quite similar as while you may use more battery you are also travelling faster then before so covering more distance in a shorter time.
@@EpiceBikes ok then...I'm gonna have to go for the bigger motor maybe. 5.0 perhaps. In your professional opinion is 50nm enough or is it worth spending a bit more for 70-85nm ? Still need to speed restrict it thanks for the link.
Can you increase the torque also on a turbo tera 4.0 ? Thanks
Hi. What chip are you using please?
No longer necessary
Dealer can change programming to make it class 3. In the US.

It’s plugged into the motor and u need to take off the black cover
Can you tell what is the maximum speed after unlock?
As fast as you can pedal, Usually around 45-50km/h on flat ground
Can you chip all Specialized motors? I have a turbo como 3.0 & my wife has the como 4.0
Is this exactly the same for Tero 4
Yes
Where do I get a chip from

@@EpiceBikes$300.00 How are dealers making the speed limit changes, US, AUS, NZ etc, they aren’t installing chips.
Would this be the same for the Como 4. Does it do anything for the 70Nm torque of the motor. Thanks
Yes same process for the Como 4. Does not do anything to increase the torque of the motor
Im guessing this shortens the range?

Thanks for this vid!! Do you ship to the UK? Thanks!😄
Yes we do
How do you change the display from KMH to MPH? Any help appreciated.
If you hold plus & minus buttons I believe that will take you to a settings menu where you can change from metric to imperial units.
@@EpiceBikes thanks for the quick response I’ll let you know if it works
Est ce que ça fonctionne pour un COMO IGH 5? si oui pourriez me donner le lien pour acheter le chipset?
Yes it works : epicebikes.com.au/product/specialized-chip-for-como-vado-tero-other-models-without-tcu/
Will this be the same on a Terbo tero 3.0?
Yes same for the tero 3
Hi ! Thanks for the Video, I have 4.0 , will it work on this and where to buy this chip please 🙏 ❤
Yes it will, Chip is available here: epicebikes.com.au/product/specialized-chip-for-como-vado-tero-other-models-without-tcu/
Will it be easy to get it to go 45 though since it’s semi electric (asking this because I have a turbo tero 3)
You can pedal at 45km/h with moderate effort top speed you can pedal is usually around 50-55km/h on flat ground
If I do this how fast will it be MPH
Motor will no longer turn off while riding at any speed. The fastest you can usually pedal is around 30-35 MPH on standard gearing and tyres
Does this void warranty?
If not removed prior to any warranty claims you will of course be denied. If you remove the chip beforehand most people are successful in a claim.
Great video!
Does this work on the turbo tero X 4.0 too?
Yes
Can you link the chip please?
Is there anyway to change the torque on the turbo tera 4.0?
Thanks
@@dman29229 No change to torque it remains the same
