coming back to this video from time to time

I have just set up our testing campaign with 3 avatars and 1 problem. We previously had a campaign that was 1 avatar 1 problem, and the avatar does not match our new tests, I am assuming starting a new campaign is best, and letting go of the data facebook collected from the first campaign. Although I am uncertain as we use a similar creative in that campaign as our new one. We are a small brand based in Brisbane and miss watching ecom soup everyday.

I've literally been binging your videos so much of this evening. I think I've watched 15 already. You're a breath of fresh air, brother. Thank you for what you're doing. It's inspiring.

In case you don't know it yet, these videos are really phenomenal. Not just the pleasure of getting to savor the cinematic experience of the video itself, but you are doing the thing that very thing that you have set out to do and very few people on the internet are doing. Maybe it's because I'm in the States and I am fed the artificial feeling, American cheese version of RUclips and you guys are Aussies. But you are *beyond* successful at creating an authentic experience. As I am in the trenches, months from launching a Kickstarter, let alone being able to call myself a business, you have reached into my mind and spoken to all my hopes and dreams and fears and insecurities. In the 39 episodes that I have consumed as I work, it has brought energy, inspiration, and a resoluteness that I can actually pull this off. Thanks for this. I don't know how I have not found this channel before. The way you deliver and share all your knowledge incorporated with the aesthetics of your life and personal lifestyle plus that touch of vintage/retro film photography angles is a masterpiece, it really feel totally different to what someone that is into marketing/copywriting etc is used to.... <3

Question:- at 5:48 you said all the energy should go towards one avatar only. In the next moment u had 3 different avatars for creative testing, so with 3 avatars... do we need to have 3 product landing pages as well? Lets say that painters avatar for ads worked well... What about the landing page? Does it have to be neutral or we have to change landing as well with the ad creative? I dont understand this one part Edit:- i rewatched over and over again to find out that not only u need a winning ad creative but a winning landing page as well. So if ad creative for painters is winning then product landing page has to be designed for painters only and then only 7 or 8 ROAS is possible.

Thank you so much for this series David, this has been so inspirational! I found you guys about 3 weeks ago and have been binging ever since. After almost 18 years in corporate working in supply chain, retail and f&b, I finally took the leap and started a small Shopify store this year and looking for some advise on RUclips quickly showed the horrendous amount of wannabe gurus out there. E-commerce soup is such a different approach and so refreshing to see. This advice, while not giving step by step guides is so valuable and really pushed me. It even inspired me to start journaling and 10 days in, I feel so focused, clear and motivated, thank you for helping me get my sh*t together and just get going. As an entrepreneur if +10 years , who’s not in the best financial position, feeling like I’m without the credentials I need to be to be deemed personally successful, this channel gives me ease. Great points on reiterating focus on brand purpose. Most customers stick around because of those values, and they return through integral commmunication. Most Ecom brands make consumer's feel the need to spend without a product & brand cause. They can definitely see through brands that are there purely for profit and sales.
