I came to this realization after building an agency by doing things I THOUGHT I loved to do. I'm now on a similar path but different direction and objective. It's been the single most impactful change of mindset I have made. While not the most financially rewarding (yet). I feel the most fulfilled by my newly changed daily habits and clarity on my long term goals. Thanks for the vid, Soup. I'm curious about your opinion towards how you framed your mind in the early days when you were the "jack of all trades" with your business. Currently working on building a drop shipping store (getting my first winner), and I'm obviously doing everything and finding enjoyment in even the things that I don't necessarily enjoy over the other aspects. I guess my question would be how do you/did you frame your mind in this early days where the weight of every inch forward in your business was on your shoulders?
Absolutely fantastic question. I framed my mind similar to you. “Let me learn everything and try to get good at everything so I can… A) put food on the table B) understand the business holistically C) know who to hire in the future 💙

I absolutely love your videos. They are ao simple, so direct, easy to understand and follow. You're doing an amazing job. I was just struggling to figure out the next thing for me as I am over 60 and know I need to transition from the physical work I have always done to earning my living through writing, etc. Was doing a life review to try for like the thousandth time to figure out what I truly love to do that I can combine in a unique way with other knowledge I have, or can get, to solve a problem for others. I have been so sidetracked trying to do what others are doing/making money with that it has just kept me stuck because there are huge parts of those things I know I would hate doing and I know it would be hard to make myself keep doing them and that would cause the whole thing to fail. Thank you so much for guiding me back to the path that's right for me... my own.
Yes, writing feels the most intuitive, by far. I have had articles published decades ago. I also enjoy problem solving when I have complete control of all the parts and pieces. I'm an introvert, loner, etc., and team playing is all but impossible for me.

All I would suggest to you is to pick the thing that 1. excites you most 2. Suits your situation (is it realistic to build it within your current life schedule? - don’t forget, speed is important in online business, once you start, you need to go all in or you’ll be left behind) 3. Once you start, keep going. Remind yourself that the next win might be just around the corner. Road blocks will be inevitable but with this mindset you will be able to continue forward. Each win cements the idea that you’re on the right path. As you move forward, the path also becomes more clear.
Great video as always! I've noticed a trend with your channel lately. I really enjoy your vlog style videos because it feels like I'm “hanging out” with you and the team. However, your videos where you simply sit down and drop knowledge bombs seem to do better lol. Another reason this video might be doing well is the strong hook in the first 30 seconds. If you continue to treat the first 30 seconds of your videos like the way you treat writing a bada$$ copy for your ecommerce emails, then it should probably improve the retention of your videos.
